In 1985, he launched his own label, which we now know as Tommy Hilfiger. Known for its classic prep look and Americana feel, Tommy Hilfiger is a staple of American fashion. From their iconic red, blue, and white flag logo, to the jeans and overalls that took over the '90s, Hilfiger continues to find its way into the modern era of fashion. Hilfiger continues to innovate and expand. From having models, such as <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/hailey-baldwin-winnie-harlow-new-faces-tommy-hilfiger" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Hailey Bieber</a>, serve as the brand's face, to collaborating with Hollywood's top celebrities, such as <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/inside-tommy-hilfiger-and-zendaya-spring-2019-collaboration" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Zendaya</a>, Hilfiger continues to adapt to the current trends and continues to show true Americana fashion.&nbsp;

Much of Tommy Hilfiger's rise can be credited to the brand's popularity with those in the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/hip-hop-aint-dead-manifesto-2018" target="_blank" rel="noopener">'90s hip-hop</a> scene, from Wu-Tang Clan to Snoop Dogg, who notably performed on Saturday Night Live in a Tommy-branded rugby shirt. &nbsp;

In 1995, the Tommy Hilfiger Corporate Foundation was formed. The foundation participated in the opening of the Martin Luther King Jr. memorial in Washington, donated funds to an organizations that fight poverty, and also created a camp for children of low-income families. The TommyxGigi collections were vintage-inspired and proved to be a bestseller for the brand, largely selling out and debuting via extravagant runway shows. Hilfiger later <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/tommy-hilfiger-zendaya-2019" target="_blank" rel="noopener">teamed up with Gen-Z actress Zendaya</a> on another successful collection.
