It's l'official: the fashion designer is back in Paris.

What better way to commemorate the return of this prodigal son than by organizing a legendary 50th birthday celebration at <a href="https://www.theatrelepalace.fr" target="_blank">Le Palace</a> nightclub &mdash; the epitome of excessive, cosmopolitan and&nbsp;trendy wildlife. Surrounded by his muse, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/graciehartzel/?hl=en" target="_blank">Grace Hartzel</a>, and the likes of <a href="http://lafemmemusic.com" target="_blank">La Femme</a> and <a href="https://www.papooz.net" target="_blank">Papooz</a>, the designer had all the more reason to celebrate with his debut collection for <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/hedi-slimane-joins-celine-as-creative-director" target="_blank">C&eacute;line</a> being presented in a few weeks at Paris Fashion Week. It has been more than thirty years since a music-obsessed teenage Hedi spent his evenings in Le Palace but, after seeing the&nbsp;photos of this celebration, it is clear that 50 is the new 20.
