On its 60th anniversary, Saint Laurent is displaying some of the eponymous designer's most iconic creations across six different Paris museums.

In 2022, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/every-look-saint-laurent-spring-summer-2022-pfw-anthony-vaccarello" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Saint Laurent</a> celebrates its 60th anniversary with signature silhouettes on display in six of Paris' most famous museums. The exhibition, which is a tribute to the Maison's 60-year history, links some of the most revered museums in Paris by offering their visitors a meeting of art and fashion.
The cultures and artistic references inspired by <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/yves-saint-laurent-designer-singature-looks-trapeze-suit-safari-jacket" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Yves Saint Laurent</a> come together in these exhibitions,&nbsp; fashion lovers can see for themselves at Le Centre Pompidou, Mus&eacute;e d'Art Moderne de Paris, Mus&eacute;e du Louvre, Mus&eacute;e d'Orsay, Mus&eacute;e National Picasso-Paris, and Mus&eacute;e Yves Saint Laurent Paris. The signature silhouette designed by Saint Laurent in 1965, inspired by Mondrian's works, consisting of geometric stripes and contrasting tones, accompanies the Mondrian painting on the walls of the Pompidou Center these days. Think about it&mdash;standing in halls filled with historic French paintings, the designer's iconic cocktail dress is displayed in all its glory.
Inviting visitors to create their own roadmap from one museum to the next, the comprehensive exhibition goes beyond the traditional perspective and offers a seamless Saint Laurent experience.

Mouna Mekouar, the exhibition's curator, said, &ldquo;Saint Laurent was very inspired by art and this shows the connections and dialogue between his works and museum exhibits. We didn't want to put the clothes in a room, we wanted them to be among the permanent collections. This way, visitors will rediscover these collections while paying homage to Yves Saint Laurent. It's like a cultural archipelago. Within the scope of the exhibition, a total of 50 Saint Laurent creations and approximately 300 designs will be exhibited. In the Saint Laurent exhibition, visitors will be a part of the creative process that lasts from the artist's raw sketches to the moment the designs are displayed on the hanger."
