Zendaya easily could’ve passed for a ‘90s supermodel in vintage Versace at the Green Carpet Fashion Awards this weekend. Receiving the Visionary Award, the multi-talented Euphoria actress stunned in a Versace dress while she Zoomed in for the show’s first-ever digital ceremony. The gown is not only a sexy fashion statement but also champions sustainability, a key value that the GCFAs celebrates, as it is a vintage piece.

The body-con beaded dress is from Gianni Versace’s Fall/Winter 1996 collection, the exact year Zendaya was born, and different versions of the dress have been modeled by runway favorites Anna K, Carla Bruni, Naomi Campbell, and Kate Moss over the years.

The Visionary Award celebrates trailblazers in the fashion industry who demonstrate leadership in the pursuit of diversity. Zendaya has definitely displayed this over the years, consistently pushing fashion forward with the help of her stylist Law Roach. From highlighting Black designers to supporting sustainable labels, the style star isn’t afraid to make a statement with her red carpet looks.

“This is an incredible honor, it means the world to me,” Zendaya said in her speech. "I think fashion has always truly lived in my heart ever since I was very, very young. I love clothes and I think it's so much more than just clothes. I think it's art, it's emotion, it's feeling, and to me, through clothes, I've been able to find myself and be more confident in myself...growing into my womanhood."
