Newly premiered on Netflix, David Fincher's biographical drama Mank features L'OFFICIEL cover star Lily Collins who plays Rita Alexander, Old Hollywood screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz's secretary. Collins, who has taken over the Internet this fall as bubbly marketing exec Emily Copper in Emily in Paris, has proven herself to be an acting chameleon, captivating audiences in everything from period pieces to rom-coms. In the 2019 Netflix film Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, Collins and Zac Efron star as the unsuspecting Liz Kendall and serial killer Ted Bundy. The fim follows Kendall's slow realization of the shocking reality of Bundy's crimes, which he vehemently refuses to admit to, and his true nature.

To the Bone

Digging into her own experience of struggling with an eating disorder, Collins gives a raw performance in Netflix’s To the Bone. She plays Ellen, a 20-year-old girl attempting to recover from anorexia, who seeks the help of an unorthodox doctor with an unusual set of rules that help her confront her physical and mental health.

The 2019 biopic of Lord of the Ring's author J. R. R. Tolkien, played by Nicholas Hoult, shows the writer in his formative years, including his love interest and eventual muse Edith Bratt, played by Collins.

Before Bong Joon-Ho recieved critical acclaim for Parasite, he directed Okja, a Netflix action-adventure film involving the bond between a young girl and a mutant pig, the corporate greed that endangers it, and the animal rights activists (including Collins, who plays Red) who try to save it.
