Often cast in sci-fi and fantasy movies and TV series, Janice Man's performances always left an unforgettable mark. Her fans and followers particularly admire her ability to portray a different array of characters: from princess to mother, from elves to an assassin.

Janice Man is Bella Au Wing a lawyer that works for an influential legislator Oswald Kan (Chow Yun-fat) in this crime movie.
The Hong Kong Police Force holds a funeral for two Senior Assistant Commissioners killed during the previous film. Shortly after, Commissioner Sean Lau (<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aaron_Kwok" title="Aaron Kwok">Aaron Kwok</a>) receives a call from one of the culprits behind the theft of the police van. He is told that his wife has been kidnapped and that he must release Joe Lee (<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eddie_Peng" title="Eddie Peng">Eddie Peng</a>) for her to survive. Lau overrides standard procedure to transfer Joe out of prison, and is told by the kidnapper to bring Joe to the metro station. There, Joe is able to escape with the aid of several accomplices, one of whom sets off a bomb. The culprits leave Lau's wife alive at the station.
Lau's actions are criticized by the media and by numerous politicians, leading to a public inquiry. Fearing that the police have been infiltrated, Lau privately requests Billy Cheung (<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aarif_Rahman" title="Aarif Rahman">Aarif Rahman</a>), an ICAC Principal Investigator who assisted him in the previous movie, to form a separate squad independent of the police, so they can track down the culprits. Meanwhile, MB Lee (<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tony_Leung_Ka-fai" title="Tony Leung Ka-fai">Tony Leung</a>), a deputy police commissioner who is about to retire, is confronted by his fugitive son along with Peter Choi (Chang Kuo-chu), a former police commissioner and MB Lee's mentor who is now manipulating politics behind the scenes. Choi is revealed as the mastermind behind the troubles of the previous film, and his current goal is to remove Lau, who is not a member of his ring, and to place his own followers into positions of power during the next election. Choi has formed a militant band consisting of former police officers who were expelled or faked their own deaths. He promises Lee not only the position of commissioner, but also of security secretary later on, upon which Lee gives into temptation and help his son.
Oswald (<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chow_Yun-fat" title="Chow Yun-fat">Chow Yun-fat</a>) is convinced by his old friend and junior Edward Lai (<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waise_Lee" title="Waise Lee">Waise Lee</a>), the current secretary of justice, to participate in the public inquiry into Lau, but is taken aback when Lee openly criticizes Lau, rather than defending him, which he was supposed to do initially . Kan deduces that Lee is being controlled, and tells his pupils to investigate, one of whom, Bella (<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Janice_Man" title="Janice Man">Janice Man</a>), decides to secretly follow Lee, and later Choi whom Lee confers with. Realizing that they are being followed, Choi orders a subordinate to crash into Au's car, causing a chain collision in which Au is killed, and Choi's car is trapped. Lau arrives to investigate, and a shoot-out occurs, in which Joe is shot and severely injured by Lau, but Choi escapes. Lee chastises Lau for failing to keep his promise of Joe's safety and almost get into a fight before Kan interferes. Afterwards, Kan finds a photograph taken by Au of Choi and Lee together.

Cold War 2 (2016) as Bella Au-Wing-Yan

In this movie directed by Herman Yau, Janice Man plays Jasmine Tsang an animal lover.
Primary school teacher Brian Fong (Andy Hui) becomes depressed after his wife&rsquo;s suicide. Unable to take care of his dog, he decides to leave it with "Beloved Pets," where he befriends founder Jasmine (Janice Man). Pressed by her family, Jasmine agrees to a marriage of convenience. A week before her wedding, she gets cold feet. Jasmine looks for Brian in the countryside to find out if he feels the same about her so that she can escape the marriage her family orchestrated for her. Unfortunately, Brian is unwilling to commit. The heart-broken Jasmine drives home alone and is attacked by kidnappers. After being taken she finds herself locked up in a room naked. During her confinement, her captor seems to be sleepless and she often hears the theme song "Nessun Dorma" from Puccini&rsquo;s masterpiece Turnadot.

Janice here plays a supporting character named Suet, and she is Shing (Shawn Yue)&rsquo;s sidekick whose specialty is causing chaos mixing and tossing exploding water bottles. 
The thriller is about a reckless police inspector Tung (Zhang Jin) is&nbsp;on a&nbsp;mission to arrest a known criminal named Shing (Shawn Yue) who is a gold smuggler with a very precise scheme, yet he fails to&nbsp;arrest him. As&nbsp;Tung continues his manhunt, he&nbsp;discovers Shing&rsquo;s involvement with triad boss Blackie (Yasuaki Kurata), who hides on&nbsp;a&nbsp;casino cruise ship. While Tung is on the ship to&nbsp;hunt for him, Shing makes his appereance.

The Brink (2017) as Suet

The series is&nbsp;set in&nbsp;the fictional world of&nbsp;Novoland and tells the story of&nbsp;loyalty, friendship, enmity, struggles and romance between the young descendants during the twilight years of&nbsp;the Duan Dynasty. In this movie Janice portrays Panxi, the spirit that lives in the magic pearl of Muyun Sheng.
Muyun Sheng, born of a spiritual mother, is the sixth underdog son of the reigning Emperor Ming of Duan. Accidentally discovering an ancient painting, he is fascinated by Panxi, the spirit locked inside (Panxi) and together they promise to seek out the most beautiful places on Earth. Muru Hanjiang, a friend of Muyun Sheng, is the son of General Muru Shuo, famous for conquering the eight tribes of Han province. Many years later, the descendant of the Eight Tribes Shuofeng Heye sows discord between the Muyun and Muru families. Only when the friendship and loyalty between these two families is rebuilt the Duan Dynasty will be safe from the invasion of the Eight Tribes.&nbsp;

Tribes and Empires: Storm of Prophecy (2017) as Panxi

Janice plays a very talented code breaker in this highly acclaimed tv-serial The Message. Her skilled abilities put her in danger at some point, as she is suspected of assasination of a high-ranked official from the government.
The Message&nbsp;风声&nbsp;is&nbsp;set during the Japanese occupation period, and is based on Mai Jia&rsquo;s novel of the same.&nbsp;An official under Wang Jingwei&rsquo;s <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reorganized_National_Government_of_the_Republic_of_China" target="_blank" rel="noopener">puppet-government</a> is assassinated, and the rebel who shoots him is caught and tortured but it doesn't sound like the end of it, someone must have leaked information on how the rebel got the assasination in play. Japanese colonel (Zhao Lixin) is alerted to the fact that there is a mole known by code name &lsquo;Phantom&rsquo; in the government, and invites five suspects to a mansion deep in the mountains.

The suspects include the talented code-breaker Li Ning Yu (Janice Man), a cheeky administrative officer Gu Xiaomeng (Xu Lu), former soldier Wu Zhiguo (Tony Yang), section chief Jin Shenghuo (Zhang Zhijian) and a flamboyant character named Bai Xiaonian (Niu Zifan).

The Message (2020-2021) as Li Ning Yu

Janice plays the role of a loving mother and wife in Sheep Without a Shepherd by director Dai Mo. The story of a family challenged by poverty and adversity, in which love plays a fundamental part in the dynamic. Lin Rilang (Xiao Yang), his wife Aling (Janice Man), and his son Xiao Chong lived a poor but happy life until his son Xiao Chong had an accident and urgently needed special medical attention. After many setbacks, Lin Rilang, is desperate and makes an impossible choice to save his son from death. Aling is hurt and she is in a lot of pain because of this tragic turns of events.

Sheep Without a Shepherd 2 (2021) as Aling

Janice Man played the character of Xu Wei Xiong very well, and won the audience's love. She is Xu Fengnian's second sister in the TV series Knives in the Snow. Xu Wei Xiong, is an extremely intelligent character and a talented woman known all over the world. At the Shangyin Academy of martial arts, whether it is her swordsmanship or strategy, she is far superior to everyone. In order to protect her younger brother Xu Feng Nian, she sacrifices everything.&nbsp;
The movie tells the story of a young master of martial arts named Xu Feng Nian (played by <a href="https://drama.fandom.com/es/wiki/Zhang_Ruo_Yun" title="Zhang Ruo Yun">Zhang Ruo Yun</a>) who under the eager expectation of his father &nbsp;persevered through hardships and growth to become the King of Northern Liang a fictonial country. Although the road was long and obstructive, and filled with ruthless murderous intentions, Xu Feng Nian constantly improves his martial arts skills, and he gathered many crucial people during this journey. He led the Beiliang cavalry to fight against Beimang at the time of the Beimang invasion and become the beacon of hope in the Central Plains.

Sword Snow Stride (2021-2022) as Xu Wei Xiong

Before she escapes with her bodyguard during the cliff hanging end of Part 1, Princess Zhao Min, a warrior princess, challenges Zhang Wu Ji to go to Dodu if he wants to rescue the members of the Six Major Sects. Sure enough this sequel kicks off with Zhang Wu Ji and fellow masters of the Ming Cult standing on a clifftop overlooking Dadu; he has indeed taken up Zhao Min's advice and is travelling to the Capital to free those poor Cult members who are being locked up in the Wan On pagoda. The rescue mission is a success thanks to Zhang using his energy power to stop those prisoners, who jump from the burning pagoda but there are a few casualties. One of them is the cruel and shrewd Miejue leader of the Er Mei Cult, who manages to disclose the secret of the legendary weapons to her disciple Zhao Zhi Rou while making her the successor. Meanwhile, due to her failure to stop Zhang, Zhao Min has her authority taken away by her father who then makes monk Chang Kun in charge of the operation.&nbsp;
