It&rsquo;s official: <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/ranking-taylor-swifts-eras-tour-outfits-2024" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Eras Tour</a> is coming to an end. On Thursday morning, October 13, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/taylor-swift-the-life-of-a-showgirl-upcoming-tour-concerts-hiatus" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Taylor Swift</a> appeared on Good Morning America to announce a brand-new six-part docuseries chronicling the making of her record-shattering global tour. The series, which will feature never-before-seen behind-the-scenes footage, premieres December 12 exclusively on Disney+.
Titled The End Of An Era, the docuseries promises an intimate look at what it took to bring the world&rsquo;s <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/taylor-swift-charitable-donations-eras-tour-food-banks" target="_blank" rel="noopener">biggest tour</a> to life&mdash;from the months of preparation and stage design to the countless moving parts behind each stadium show. &ldquo;We have broken every single record you can break with this tour,&rdquo; Swift says in the first-look trailer, reflecting on the magnitude of the project that has defined her last two years.
In addition to the new series, Disney+ will also release the extended version of Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/taylor-swift-eras-tour-documentary-film" target="_blank" rel="noopener">concert film</a> the same day, featuring the Tortured Poets Department <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/taylor-swift-new-eras-tour-setlist-new-album" target="_blank" rel="noopener">setlist</a> additions that fans have been eager to see performed in full.
The announcement marks a full-circle moment for Swift, whose tour has become a cultural and economic phenomenon, breaking global attendance and revenue records while redefining live music production.
As The Eras Tour takes its final bow, this docuseries offers fans one last chance to relive the spectacle&mdash;and to see, for the first time, the relentless creativity, precision, and passion that made it possible.
