After an action-packed season, the smash-hit HBO show has wrapped up for now.&nbsp;

Since January, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/the-pitt-season-2-episode-14-recap-summary-everything-you-missed-plot-storyline-cast-characters" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Pitt season 2</a> has been a consistent presence every Thursday evening, but this week, we say goodbye to our favorite medical drama.
From waterpark collapses to blackouts, it's been a tough shift for the nurses, techs, doctors, and staff in the pit, but one way or another, each of them have come out the other side. But after 15 long hours, the day shift has finally come to an end&mdash;and with it, season 2. Between Dr. Mohan's uncertainty for her future, Robby's burnout and suicidal thoughts, and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/patrick-ball-the-pitt-actor-interview-season-2-cast-dr-langdon-mel-king" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Langdon's</a> return, the staff has plenty to manage, both in terms of patient and personal troubles, and audiences were sat, for both the good and the bad.&nbsp;

<h2 style="text-align: center;">The Pitt Season 2 Episode 15 Summary</h2>

Last week, viewers last saw Dr. Al-Hashimi show Dr. Robby her full medical history in confidence, hoping to gt a second opinion on her condition. Dr. Al-Hashimi elaborates a bit more on her seizure history, and tells him that before her first shift in the hospital's emergency department, it's been years since she last had one. She runs through different options for treating her seizures, and Dr. Robby expresses concern. Before long, the pair are needed back on the floor, bringing their conversation to a standstill. Meanwhile, upstairs, Dr. Langdon completes a drug test, as mandated by the hospital.
Robby is pulled into a conversation with Dana, who asks him about baby Jane Doe. Despite their tense conversations earlier, the two ease back into their typical joking groove.&nbsp;
Last episode, viewers saw Dana express concern about Robby's sabatical and potential mental health crisis to Abbot. Now, he follows up on her worries and pulls Robby aside for a quick talk. The duo walk outside, as Robby checks on his motorcycle. Abbot tells him that people think Robby won't be coming back after his sabbatical, and lets it slip that his co-workers are worried about him. Robby quickly gets defensive, and tells him Dana's projecting, and that Abbot should worry about his own coping mechanisms. The two intercept a new patient arriving in an ambulance, tabling that conversation for later. The pair, along with Dr. Crus, start assisting the newly arrived patient, a pregnant woman suffering from preeclampsia.&nbsp;
At the desks, Santos dozes off while finishing her charts while Javadi and Whitaker debrief the long shift. Whitaker asks Javadi if she's made any progress on deciding what her medical specialization will be. She tells him that she liked the ED, but looking at how all of her co-workers are faring, she's not so sure it would be best for her mental health in the long run. Whitaker suggests that she might be suited for working in mental health, and she brightens up and hugs him, agreeing with his idea.&nbsp;
Outside, Dr. King checks in with her sister, Becca, on FaceTime. The latter tells her she decided to skip fireworks, and instead is watching a movie with her boyfriend, Adam. Dejected, Dr. King grapples with her sister's new relationship.&nbsp;
Robby says goodbye to his friend Duke, who promises that he'll go to his appointments if Robby comes back and lets him ride his motorcycle. Robby says he'll think about it, and shakes Duke's hand before heading back into the emergency department.&nbsp;
Dana tells Robby that a patient passed away while in the waiting room, and a dispute starts about if it was during day shift or night shift. Regardless, Dr. Shen and Dr. Ellis retrieve the patient and bring him back.&nbsp;
Dr. King, still outside, watches the fireworks. Finished with his drug test, Dr. Langdon comes out, looking for Robby. After talking, the pair watch the fireworks together as they debrief the day, and Langdon thanks her for her confidence in his abilities.&nbsp;
Dana takes a lap around the department, watching all of the day shift staff working on updating their patient charts so they can get home as fast as possible. She tells the residents to let her know if anyone would be interested in fostering baby Jane Doe.&nbsp;
Meanwhile, Abbot and Crus continue to work with the pregnant patient, but the situation becomes dire when she starts to suffer seizures.&nbsp;
Robby pulls Javadi aside and starts to mention her social media posts. Thinking she's in for a chastising, she starts to defend herself, but to her surprise, Robby tells her they're great, especially for young people to see, and says to keep it up. Encouraged, she asks his opinion on going into emergency psychiatry, and he tells he's more than confident in her abilities.&nbsp;
After the hospital's lawyer walks into the ED looking for Dr. King, Robby stops her and asks her opinion on his situation with Dr. Al-Hashimi. Dr. King finds out she's being called for yet another deposition, and vents to Santos. Over with the long day, Santos suggests they blow off steam at karaoke after she's done charting.&nbsp;
As the pregnant patient's condition worsens, Robby, Abbot, Shen, Ellis, and Crus race against the clock to try and save both the mother and the fetus.&nbsp;
Before leaving, Robby needs to find Al-Hashimi, Langdon, and Whitaker. Just as Whitaker is heading out the door, Robby intercepts him, and gives him all the instructions for looking after his house&mdash;plus a request to check on Duke. Outside, Robby also finds Mohan, who's taking a break for fresh air. The two have a tense, but frank conversation about both of their futures, and she says goodbye, and tells him to be safe.&nbsp;
After heading back inside, Robby finds Al-Hashimi, who's just returned from a conversation with the neurologist on call. She expresses confidence in her abilities, but Robby has doubts. Eventually, their talk turns into a shouting match, and he threatens her with an ultimatum&mdash;let the hospital leadership know about her condition by Monday, or he will.&nbsp;
Abbot pulls Robby aside and reassures him of his importance in the department. Without Robby, he explains, the team would have lost the mother and baby they helped save. Robby tells him he knows how important their work is, but he says it's also killing him. He says he feels a bit of life and humanity drain away every time he sees a fellow human pass away. Abbot tells him to get away from the hospital for a while, find some help, and come back.&nbsp;
Al-Hashimi leaves in tears after a long, difficult shift, while the night shift tends to patients, and the day shift gathers on the hospital roof to watch fireworks. Meanwhile, Robby finds Langdon and apologizes for not making the time to have a serious conversation.&nbsp;
When he hears baby Jane Doe crying, Robby heads in to hold her and reassures her that she's going to be okay, mirroring his own anguish and feelings of abandonment.&nbsp;
In the last few moments, viewers get a final glimpse at some of the show's fan-favorite characters out and about at karaoke. Exhausted and inebriated, King and Santos pull off a wild, chaotic duet, serenading watchers into the credit sequence.&nbsp;
