In case you&mdash;somehow&mdash;missed it, Belly and Jeremiah called off their wedding in&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/the-summer-i-turned-pretty-episode-8-recap-episode-9-predictions" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Summer I Turned Pretty's last episode</a>.

<h2 style="text-align: center;">The Summer I Turned Pretty&nbsp;Season 3 Episode 9 Recap</h2>

As promised by the closing scene of last week's episode, Belly hops on a plane to <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/paris-fashion-week-spring-summer-2026-schedule-brands-showing-dior-chanel-debut-alaia-everything-to-know" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Paris</a> with renewed intent to study abroad. But first, she caught a brief glimpse of Conrad in the airport while boarding, before deciding to begin a new chapter&mdash;because where better to start over than the City of Lights?&nbsp;
After leaving the wedding venue, Jeremiah drowns his sorrows in a local bar, surrounded by Steven, Redbird, and Denise. And of course, it wouldn't be <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/the-summer-i-turned-pretty-actors-girlfriends-in-real-life-chris-briney-gavin-casalegno-wife" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Summer I Turned Pretty</a>&nbsp;without a little bit of will-they-won't-they tension, as illustrated by Taylor and Steven.&nbsp;
At the behest of his father, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/the-summer-i-turned-pretty-conrad-fisher-season-3-episode-5" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Conrad</a> skips his flight back out to the West Coast and turns up at the dive bar to check on Jeremiah, but is quickly stopped by Steven and Taylor&mdash;in case you forgot, Jeremiah vehemently told Conrad he never wanted to see him again.&nbsp;
Belly touches down in Paris, to the tune of <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/taylor-swift-travis-kelce-relationship-timeline-dating-football-chiefs" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Taylor Swift</a>'s "You're On Your Own, Kid," and takes in the city sights. Unfortunately, once she arrives at the French university, she discovers that there was a clerical mistake, and her spot in the program has been filled&mdash;happens to the best of us... right? In tears, she calls her mother, and the two have a brief but effective heart-to-heart.&nbsp;
Despite the brief up in our protagonist's Parisian adventures, Belly's misfortune quickly resumes when her backpack&mdash;containing Jeremiah's petite, but memorable <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/most-expensive-celebrity-engagement-rings-taylor-swift-selena-gomez-georgina-rodriguez" target="_blank" rel="noopener">engagement ring</a>&mdash;is stolen, ensuing in a cross-arrondissement chase.&nbsp;
After following the thief all day long, Belly finally tracks him down to a wild nightclub, where she saves a girl named Gemma from a stalker, gets into a physical showdown with her robber, and successfully reclaims her belongings. Afterwards, we see Belly hanging out with Gemma and her friends, and she quickly falls in with the group.&nbsp;
Meanwhile, back in Cousins, Jeremiah continues to nurse his hangover, with Taylor overseeing his physical&mdash;and emotional&mdash;recovery, as Steven contends with Conrad. Plus, Steven finally finds out that Jeremiah cheated on Belly. After Steven rants and raves about the whole wedding debacle with <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/the-summer-i-turned-pretty-rain-spencer-season-2-love-triangles" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Taylor</a>, the pair finally&nbsp;rekindled their romantic relationship.
Belly and Jeremiah have a brief phone call, and though it started out well, things quickly got ugly when Belly&mdash;or, Isabel, as her new Parisian friends call her&mdash;tells <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/gavin-casalegno-the-summer-i-turned-pretty-season-2" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jeremiah</a> that she needs to figure out who she is without him, and that it's best if they go their separate ways.&nbsp;
Jeremiah's wrath continues to be felt when he appears back at the beach house, and exchanges a few words with Conrad&mdash;mostly, lording his phone call with Belly over his brother's head, before once again, telling Conrad to go return to California and never come back.
After a serious, emotional chat with Conrad, Adam returns to the beach house to be there for Jeremiah&mdash;better late than never&mdash;and the two share a hug, before the screen fades to black.&nbsp;

<h2 style="text-align: center;">The Summer I Turned Pretty&nbsp;Season 3 Episode 10 Predictions</h2>

Now that we're officially beyond Jenny Han's original trilogy, we can truly only guess what's next in store. Based on the events of this episode&mdash;plus, the teaser trailer released last week&mdash;it's looking like Belly will stay in Paris, Jeremiah will step into a role at his father's company, Conrad will continue med school out west, and Steven and Taylor's relationship will progress further.
However, book fans can rejoice, as it looks like Conrad and Belly will likely exchange letters while they're apart, leading to a rekindling of their relationship, should the show's plot follow the book ending.&nbsp;
