As Hollywood continues to have split opinions regarding Will Smith slapping Chris Rock on stage during the 2022 Oscars ceremony, several celebrities have spoken out against Smith. Most recently, Zoë Kravitz, who was present at the awards during the altercation, is now condemning Smith's reaction.

Kravitz posted two pictures on Instagram, each of herself at the awards show, where she expresses her strong opinion against Smith's behavior. In the caption of her first post, Kravitz wrote, "Here's a picture of my dress at the award show where we are apparently assaulting people on stage now."

The actress then shared another photo, this time of her outfit for the Vanity Fair after-party, writing, "And here is a picture of my dress at the party after the award show -where we are apparently screaming profanities and assaulting people on stage now."

The altercation occurred after Rock made a joke on stage about Smith's wife Jada Pinkett Smith. "Jada, I love ya. G.I. Jane 2, can’t wait to see it," said the comedian, referencing the actress' lack of hair, which many found to be in poor taste as she has been open about her struggles with alopecia.

In the post's comments, Kravitz was asked by a follower if she supported Smith "defending his wife" against Rock, to which she replied "No."

While Kravitz was not a fan of the King Richard star's actions, other celebrities have come out in the actor's defense. Tiffany Haddish told People, "When I see a Black man coming to his wife's defense it means a lot to me. It means the world to me. Maybe the world is not happy with what happened, but it was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, because it made me believe that there are still men out there who love and care about their women, their wives. If she hadn't been hurt, he [Will] probably wouldn't have done anything. see how he was obviously… They were upset, she was hurt… He protected his wife."
