The campaign marks the third installment of CDLP's LENSED BY: series.

For their Spring 2019 campaign&mdash;and third installment of their LENSED BY: project&mdash;Swedish men&rsquo;s underwear brand CDLP collaborated with Danish photographer <a href="https://cdlp.com/voices-voyages/lensed-by-rasmus-weng-karlsen" target="_blank">Rasmus Weng Karlsen</a>. The LENSED BY: project is a series of photographic campaigns that strives to uncover different forms of masculinity that go beyond what consumers are traditionally fed through men&rsquo;s underwear ads. Karlsen follows The Rencks (film director Johan Renck and wife Elin) and Daniella Midenge&rsquo;s installments of the series.

This season, model Daniel Hopwood lent his charisma to Karlsen&rsquo;s talents, generating a campaign&mdash;which was shot at Grand Hotel Copenhagen&mdash;that is as fun as it is sexy. Hopwood exhibits a playfulness that isn&rsquo;t usually presented in the underwear industry. Consequently, LENSED BY: is more than just a series of campaigns that presents CDLP&rsquo;s core collection in an editorial fashion, it is an attempt to challenge conventional views of masculinity.

On tapping Rasmus Weng Karlsen for the campaign, CDLP co-founder Christian Larson explained that &quot; Rasmus&rsquo; images never feel like a shoot, they have that pure authenticity&mdash;like you&rsquo;re invited into moments of his life. He has a unique ability to show vulnerability alongside grit, humor, and understated cool&mdash;all at the same time.&rdquo; Indeed, Rasmus&mdash;who began his career photographing the Danish underground music scene in the mid-2000s&mdash;tells a photographic story that feels raw and genuine, which he attributes in part to Hopwood&rsquo;s energy. &ldquo;There&rsquo;s nothing better than a model that is truly himself on set,&rdquo; he shared.

Look out for CDLP&rsquo;s signature yellow boxes at US retail partners like Barneys, Bergdorf Goodman.
