Creative director Simon Holloway&rsquo;s dapper debut collection for the luxury menswear brand was held at the Duveen Wing in London's National Portrait Gallery.&nbsp;

Simon Holloway's debut collection for Dunhill was presented at the Duveen Wing in London's National Portrait Gallery. The wing was transformed into a distinguished salon-like atmosphere, which ultimately set the tone for what was a debonair <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/men/mens-fall-winter-2024-fashion-trends" target="_blank" rel="noopener">menswear</a> collection. The series of garments celebrated the brand's 130 years of history as well as its impressive presence in culture. The <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/men/best-mens-fall-winter-2024-runway-looks-images" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Fall/Winter 2024</a> collection&rsquo;s old Hollywood charm comes as no surprise, as the fashion house has famously dressed legends like Truman Capote and Frank Sinatra. This aesthetic can be seen in the tailored three-piece suits and tweed pieces.&nbsp;

Preserving the art of English tailoring was key for Holloway. The structured tuxedos and velvet eveningwear were designed with acute attention to detail. The collection also worked to commemorate Alfred Dunhill&rsquo;s heritage by featuring the car coat. Other well-made pieces of outerwear, including leather trench coats and shearling jackets, were included as well. Dunhill&rsquo;s notability for the car coat comes from his beginnings in supplying and creating accessories for motorists. The elegant and informal blazers paired well with the pleated flannel Gurkha trousers, gabardine chinos, and five-pocket trousers in wool and cotton denim. With all being said and done, this collection shows that timeless suits and formalwear will never truly go out of style.
