Thom Browne is always dreaming beyond the established boundaries of fashion, and his Fall 2019 men's collection was no different. The designer wanted to insert femininity into menswear, and this concept of "Waisted" led to the obvious waist-driven silhouettes through corsets, tailoring, and layered illusion, but also heels, elongated lines, and a classic color palette. Browne's Paris Fashion Week show was a vision in itself, with models coming out in 12 sets before unveiling miniature mannequins of each look, but it's just as magical in the outside world. Richie Shazam photographed the new creations around the French capital, showing how dreamy and transformative femme menswear can be by posing models both in minimalist settings and next to stunning art and architecture. It seems Paris, as a prime location for melding fashion and art, is the perfect starting place for Browne's revolution.
