Call it what you want, but there&#39;s no denying Cardi B is a superstar on the rise. She&#39;s been making waves ever since she first captured our hearts on <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ddSpvTGRkzk" target="_blank">Vine</a>&nbsp;back in 2015. Fast forward three years later, Cardi has made <a href="https://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/chart-beat/8094819/cardi-b-beyonce-five-hits-top-10-rb-hip-hop-songs-chart" target="_blank">Billboard</a> history, made her <a href="http://people.com/style/cardi-b-best-red-carpet-style-moments/" target="_blank">red carpet rounds</a> during awards show season, and even starred in a <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6-8DQALGt4">Superbowl commercial</a>. Suffice to say it&#39;s Cardi B&#39;s world and we are just living in it.&nbsp;

Recently, the Bronx native announced the upcoming release of her debut album,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/cardi-b-unveils-cover-art-and-release-date" target="_blank">Invasion of Privacy</a>&nbsp;(due April 6),&nbsp;and&nbsp;released the music video for one of its singles&mdash;fan favorite trap extravaganza &quot;Bartier Cardi&quot;&mdash;during an episode of VH1&#39;s&nbsp;Love and Hip-Hop.&nbsp;

In the visual, Cardi serves up high-octane glamour like we&#39;ve never seen before, brilliantly captured by director Petra Collins in a nostalgic hodgepodge of history&#39;s most decadent eras. Decadent is the key word here: the video features Cardi performing on a vintage TV set, male models branded with &quot;Cardi&quot; on their necks, and a Project X-style mansion party where scattered hundred dollar bills abound in plenty and a dress code of Fashion Nova furs and crystal-embellished frocks is fully enforced. Her fianc&eacute; Offset also makes a cameo &agrave; la Jay-Z in Beyonc&eacute;&#39;s &quot;Partition,&quot; while featured artist 21 Savage gets tied up as he spits his contributing verse on the track. Overall it&#39;s a visual and visceral feast for the eyes.&nbsp;

Releasing the video this week is quite strategic on&nbsp;Cardi&#39;s part considering the release of her newest release &quot;Be Careful&quot;&mdash;a song said to reference Offset&#39;s <a href="https://pagesix.com/2018/02/27/the-real-reason-cardi-b-hasnt-dumped-offset-for-cheating/" target="_blank">alleged affair</a> back in February&mdash;has received mixed reviews from both fans and critics alike. That being said, the &quot;Bartier Cardi&quot; video is sure to be a tough act to follow.&nbsp;
