Five-time Grammy nominee SZA made her Saturday Night Live debut as the musical guest for host (<a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/BcgVjl1DMdd/?taken-by=sza">and longtime crush</a>) James Franco this weekend. The Best New Artist Grammy nominee performed &ldquo;The Weekend&rdquo; and &ldquo;Love Galore,&rdquo;&nbsp;two songs off her recently released acclaimed album Ctrl.

The 28-year-old singer&rsquo;s gospel accompaniment ditched the white robes donned for &ldquo;The Weekend&rdquo; in favor of an all black ensemble for a special rendition of &ldquo;Love Galore,&rdquo;&nbsp;for which the singer replaced Travis Scott&rsquo;s feature with an alternate, unreleased verse to the hit song. Both &ldquo;Love Galore&rdquo; and &ldquo;The Weekend&rdquo; are up for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration and Best R&amp;B Performance, respectively, at the 2018 Grammys.

It&rsquo;s been a long journey, SZA&nbsp;revealed in a heartfelt <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/BcFi_igBVip/?taken-by=sza">statement on Instagram</a>, but with five Grammy nominations, a striking&nbsp;SNL performance, and a 40-show tour under her belt, SZA is a certified music mainstay. &nbsp;
