Rihanna, Beyoncé, and Jennifer Lopez Rank Among the Richest American Self-Made Women
Forbes’ annual list of the richest self-made women in the U.S. featured some major stars like Rihanna, Beyoncé, and Jennifer Lopez. The musical ladies all ranked within the top 100, with list newcomers J.Lo and Lady Gaga tying for #97 with $150 million. Rihanna surpassed both women (and Beyoncé at #55), ringing in at #33 with a net worth of $600 million as a result of not only her music career, but also her business endeavors like Fenty Beauty, Savage X Fenty, and her LVMH-backed luxury brand Fenty.
Three of the Kardashian-Jenner clan made it on the list, with Kim Kardashian West placing at #24 with her net worth of $780 million, followed by her sister Kylie Jenner at #29, and matriarch Kris at #92.
Other notable ladies on the list include Oprah Winfrey at #9 with $2.6 billion, and fashion designers Tory Burch, Donna Karan, Vera Wang, who came in at #26, #52, and #76, respectively. However, the richest self-made woman on the list is Dianne Hendricks, the chairwoman of a roofing company with a net worth of $8 billion dollars.
