In a new interview promoting her documentary, the Supreme Court justice talks about sexual assault: "every woman of my vintage knows [it]."

Supreme Court justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg status as a cultural icon is not up for debate &mdash; and, yes, she&rsquo;s seen the Kate McKinnon SNL parodies. The &ldquo;Notorious RBG&rdquo; has become a hero of sorts with her outspoken candor as a moral and legal torch bearer in the United States, which is why she&rsquo;s the subject of a new documentary, RBG, that just premiered at Sundance Film Festival.

In support of the film, Ginsburg participated in a panel where she offered her thoughts on the #MeToo movement and personal experiences with sexual harassment. &ldquo;Every woman of my vintage knows what sexual harassment is, though we didn&#39;t have a name for it then,&quot; she said. Later, she recounted a story from her time attending Cornell University as a student, where a professor gave her an early look at a test. &ldquo;I knew exactly what he wanted in return.&rdquo;

&quot;The attitude towards sexual harassment was, &#39;get past it, boys will be boys.&#39; This was not considered anything you could do anything about, that the law could do anything about,&rdquo; she remarked, noting that now the law is on the side of women or men who encounter harassment, and that&#39;s a big thing.&quot;

&nbsp;

In more lighthearted conversation, Ginsburg said she had seen both Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri (&ldquo;a fantastic film&rdquo;) and Call Me By Your Name (&ldquo;I have to find out where in Italy it took place&rdquo;).
