Garfield, who is notoriously private about his relationships, will put a new side of himself on full display as he plays a character named Tobias, and appears to fall in love with <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/florence-pugh-best-style-moments" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Pugh&rsquo;s</a> character, Almut, in a whirlwind series of events beginning (spoiler) with Almut hitting Tobias with her car. The two quickly hit it off in what is promised to be a &ldquo;decade-spanning, deeply moving romance&rdquo; according to an official synopsis.

Shannon Woodward, best known for Dina in The Last of Us, and Elsie in Westworld was Garfield&rsquo;s first publicly known girlfriend, and the pair dated from 2008 to 2011. They were seen around each other often, with Garfield telling Parade that &ldquo;Whenever we have time, we&rsquo;re together,&rdquo; but as filming for the first installment of The Amazing Spider-Man began, the time they shared dwindled and the relationship completely fizzled out.&nbsp;

Newly single, and in a romantic acting role with co-star <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/emma-stone-responds-andrew-garfield-spider-man-no-way-home-appearance" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Emma Stone</a>, there&rsquo;s no question that there were glimmers of real romance between the two as they filmed the superhero blockbuster. The two of them were caught in the throes of love beginning in 2011. In an interview with MTV News in 2012, Garfield claimed that they &ldquo;got on really well as people, in between [takes]... we&rsquo;d just mess around and I felt, &lsquo;Ah, this is different.&rsquo;&rdquo;&nbsp;
It was a relationship the whole world was watching, adding authenticity to everything they saw on the big screen and bringing Peter Parker (Garfield) and Gwen Stacey (Stone) into the real world. In the summer of 2019, Garfield allegedly began dating Christine Gabel, and in 2021 they were spotted holding hands in <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/shopping-in-new-york-city-store-openings-2024" target="_blank" rel="noopener">New York City</a> although they kept anything between them very hush-hush and the romance eventually dissolved.&nbsp;

Garfield was linked to <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/asian-models-fashion-industry-heritage-month" target="_blank" rel="noopener">model</a> Alyssa Miller in late 2021, caught holding hands with her in New York City. They made a public appearance together in February 2022 with undeniable chemistry, but suddenly broke up in April without comment aside from a since-deleted Instagram post where the Sports Illustrated model wrote: &ldquo;if you must gossip, at least use a cute photo. Lol love you AG&rdquo; which left the public completely confounded, but as more time passed, it became clear that they were no longer an item.

Seen cozying up together in late 2022, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/bridgerton-steamiest-moments-season-three-netflix-part-two-sex-love-affair" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bridgerton </a>star Phoebe Dynevor and Andrew Garfield met at the GQ Men of the Year Awards and supposedly had an instant connection. Whether their relationship never came to be due to Dynevor's immense social media social following, or a simple difference in personality is unclear.&nbsp;

Olivia Brower, a model signed to the JAG modeling agency was rumored to be in some manner of a relationship with Garfield after he was photographed by The Sun, smiling with his arms around her in early 2024. Sadly, nothing seemed to come of the relationship, as the two have not been spotted together since.
