&ldquo;He wants to have a family. That&rsquo;s not where she is at,&rdquo; a source told Page Six. The pair have not been spotted in public together since March, which fueled breakup speculations.&nbsp;

Meryl Streep and Don Gummer

News has emerged that <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/meryl-streep-and-don-gummer-separated-split-marriage" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Meryl Streep and Don Gummer</a> quietly separated over six years ago, <a href="https://pagesix.com/2023/10/20/meryl-streep-husband-don-gummer-have-been-separated-for-more-than-6-years/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according to Page Six</a>. &nbsp;"Don Gummer and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/meryl-streep-young-rare-photos-movies" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Meryl Streep</a>&nbsp;have been separated for more than 6 years, and while they will always care for each other, they have chosen lives apart," a spokesperson for the former couple said. The former couple married in 1978, six months after meeting each other, and have since shared children: Henry Wolfe, 43, Mamie Gummer, 40, Grace Gummer, 37, and Louisa Jacobson, 30. While news of their split is confirmed, there has been no further insight into why they called it quits.

Lupita Nyong'o and Selema Masekela

After less than a year of dating, actress <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/who-is-lupita-nyongo-dating-selema-masekela-break-up-joshua-jackson" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lupita Nyong'o</a> and sports commentator Selema Masekela have called it quits. Nyong'o took to Instagram to <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/who-is-lupita-nyongo-dating-selema-masekela-break-up-joshua-jackson" target="_blank" rel="noopener">address the breakup</a>, stating, "At this moment, it is necessary for me to share a personal truth and publicly dissociate myself from someone I can no longer trust," she wrote. "I find myself in a season of heartbreak because of a love suddenly and devastatingly extinguished by deception. I am tempted to run into the shadows and hide, only to return to the light when I have regained my strength enough for me to say, 'Whatever, my life is better this way.'"
She has since wiped all traces of Masekela from her social media pages and was recently spotted at a Janelle Monae concert with the newly single Joshua Jackson (though according to sources with direct knowledge, the two are just friends and were in attendance with a larger group, <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2023/10/19/lupita-nyongo-split-breakup-boyfriend-selema-masekela-joshua-jackson/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">per TMZ</a>).

The internet's favorite influencer <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/emma-chamberlain-style-fashion-louis-vuitton-cartier-virgil-abloh" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Emma Chamberlain</a> and singer-songwriter Role Model have reportedly called it quits. According to <a href="https://www.eonline.com/news/1387366/emma-chamberlain-and-musician-role-model-break-up" target="_blank" rel="noopener">E! News</a>, a source close to the pair claims the two broke up on October 7.&nbsp;
Chamberlain and Role Model, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury, made their first public debut on the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty red carpet in 2022 but did not officially confirm their relationship until Valentine's Day of 2023 in an interview with <a href="https://www.gq.com/story/gq-hype-emma-chamberlain-role-model" target="_blank" rel="noopener">GQ</a>. Rumors of their relationship began as early as 2020. Neither of them has made any statement about the alleged breakup, but many fans are taking the alleged breakup hard, turning to social media to air their grievances.&nbsp;

Reports of <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/taylor-swift-fearless-mr-perfectly-fine-joe-jonas-song" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Joe Jonas</a> and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/sophie-turner-maternity-style-comfy-chic-age-joe-jonas-married-baby" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Sophie Turner</a>'s split began circulating on September 1, when Jonas <a href="https://www.glamour.com/story/sophie-turner-and-joe-jonas-a-complete-divorce-rumor-timeline" target="_blank" rel="noopener">filed for divorce</a>. In his filing, Jonas stated that the marriage was "irretrievably broken." By September 6, the pair released a joint <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/joe-jonas-sophie-turner-joint-statement-divorce-why-split" target="_blank" rel="noopener">statement</a> that said they &ldquo;mutually decided to amicably end [their] marriage,&rdquo; but as more and more information came out, that statement might not have been entirely true.
After a night out with <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/taylor-swift-travis-kelce-relationship-timeline-dating-football-chiefs" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Taylor Swift</a> on September 19, Turner filed a lawsuit against Jonas on September 21, alleging his wrongful retention of their two children. Turner claimed the children were "wrongfully removed or wrongfully detained" and revealed that she found out about the divorce alongside the public on September 1.
On October 10, Turner and Jonas came to a <a href="https://people.com/joe-jonas-sophie-turner-reach-temporary-custody-arrangement-for-daughters-through-early-2024-7965826" target="_blank" rel="noopener">tentative agreement</a> after a mediation period which allows Turner to return to England with her two children until October 21. After this period, custody will switch to Jonas until November 2. This schedule will repeat until January 7. On December 23, the couple will need to update the court on their mediation status and create a plan for the future.&nbsp;

Four years into their marriage, Jodie Turner-Smith and Joshua Jackson have called it quits. The actress filed for divorce on October 2 where the documents reportedly stated the cause of their separation is due to "irreconcilable differences," according to Page Six. The former couple are looking for joint custody over their 3-year-old daughter, Janie.

Hugh Jackman and&nbsp;Deborra-lee Jackman

After 27 years, Hugh and Deborra-lee Jackman are getting divorced according to <a href="https://people.com/hugh-jackman-and-deborra-lee-jackman-separate-exclusive-7970286" target="_blank" rel="noopener">People</a>. The two met in 1995 before getting married a year later.
They put out a joint statement to the outlet saying,&nbsp;"We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth."

According to sources <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2023/08/16/britney-spears-sam-asghari-separate-split-cheating-infidelity-divorce/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">who spoke to TMZ</a>, the couple "have separated after a nuclear argument that involves allegations of cheating" with Asghari having confronted Spears "over rumors she stepped out on him." Neither Asghari nor Spears have commented on the divorce speculation. If it is true, Spears did have Asghari sign a prenup, though it is likely there will still be a financial settlement to some degree.

After 11 years of marriage, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/natalie-portman-most-iconic-roles-star-wars-padme-thor" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Natalie Portman</a> and Benjamin Millepied are reportedly separated according to US Weekly. In June, there were rumors circling that Millepeid was having an affair with climate activist Camille &Eacute;tienne, speculation that continued to surge after Portman was photographed without her wedding ring in early August. After three years together, the singers <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/every-look-louis-vuitton-men-fall-winter-2023-collection-runway-photos" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rosal&iacute;a</a> and Rauw Alejandro are over and ending their engagement of four months. The Spanish pop artist was first seen with Alejandro in August of 2021, making it Instagram official, although they had been dating for over a year by then. Bella Hadid and Marc Kalman

Model <a href="https://lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/science-says-bella-hadid-most-beautiful-woman-in-world" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bella Hadid</a> and art director <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/who-is-bella-hadid-new-boyfriend-marc-kalman" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Marc Kalman</a> confirmed their romance in July 2021, and soon they were spotted on plenty of couples outings. In other sad news, actors Sof&iacute;a Vergara and Joe Manganiello are getting divorced after seven years of marriage. <a href="https://pagesix.com/2023/07/17/sofia-vergara-and-joe-manganiello-separate-after-7-years-of-marriage/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Page Six</a> reported a joint statement from the two, reading, "We have made the difficult decision to divorce. As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives."
Fans noticed that Vergara traveled to <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/chanel-capri-news-cruise-2021" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Capri</a> with friends and Manganiello wasn't present, with some commenting on Instagram photos that depicted Vergara having a good and carefree time. In another musical relationship, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/billie-eilish-music-style-evolution-happier-than-ever-album" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Billie Eilish</a> and Jesse Rutherford <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/billie-eilish-jesse-rutherford-break-up-split-dating-relationship" target="_blank" rel="noopener">broke up</a> after less than a year of dating in May. The two were first linked in October 2022 and officially announced their relationship in November. Their relationship became big news because of the 10-year age gap as well as their public appearances (I think we all remember them wrapped in Gucci blankets and pajamas in 2022 for their red-carpet debut).&nbsp;

Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn

The news that shocked the Swiftie community was word that Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn had <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/taylor-swift-joe-alwyn-relationship-timeline-dating" target="_blank" rel="noopener">called it quits</a> amidst her Eras Tour. After not showing up to any of her shows, the breakup broke in April after six years together. The two kept their romance largely out of the public eye, but anyone who has listened to her music will note the significant impact the relationship had on her <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/taylor-swift-songs-movie-television" target="_blank" rel="noopener">songwriting</a> and life in general. Kat Graham and Darren Genet

The Vampire Diaries&nbsp;couple called off their engagement in July after a little over a year of being fianc&eacute;s. <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/kat-graham-luisaviaroma-editorial-2019" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Graham</a> took to Instagram to share the news, "Hey everyone. After many years together, Darren and I have chose to no longer be together. The engagement ended a few months ago. He's a great guy and we wish each other nothing but the most happy and beautiful life."

Cher and Alexander Edwards

After Cher was spotted with a big diamond ring last year, reports circled that the couple was engaged. However, they were just having fun and the news wasn't true.&nbsp;

Glen Powell and Gigi Paris

Glen Powell and Gigi Paris broke up in April after four years of dating, adding their names to the list of biggest celebrity breakups. <a href="https://people.com/movies/glen-powell-girlfriend-gigi-paris-break-up/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">People</a> reported that the couple had broken up multiple times in the past and long distance complicated their relationship. Paris was modeling while Powell was filming Anyone But You in Australia, and their work on opposite coasts made it hard to maintain the relationship. So, Paris broke it off when she visited Powell on set.
The news comes after a spiral of rumors that Powell and his costar <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/sydney-sweeney-bikini-pictures" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Sydney Sweeney</a> were romantically involved while filming. Fans also noticed when Paris unfollowed Sweeney on Instagram, fueling gossip. However, the rumors have been debunked and a source from Paris reaffirms that the break-up had nothing to do with Sweeney.

Halsey and Alev Aydin

The singer and film producer were first seen together in 2019 at a Los Angeles <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/kobe-bryant-young-photos-basketball-legacy" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lakers</a> basketball game. From there, the relationship progressed and they got matching tattoos together a year later. By 2021, Halsey confirmed her first pregnancy and the couple welcomed a son, Ender.&nbsp;
Now, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/halsey-announces-new-album-instagram-pregnant" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Halsey</a> and Aydin have been broken up since April, but <a href="https://people.com/music/halsey-splits-from-boyfriend-alev-aydin-plans-to-co-parent-son-source/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">People</a> reports that they plan on co-parenting together.&nbsp;

Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth

Just before the couple's 12-year wedding anniversary, actress <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/reese-witherspoon-iconic-roles-movies-tv-instagram-kids-daughter" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Reese Witherspoon</a> and talent agent Jim Toth announced their divorce. The couple took to Instagram to share the news in a joint statement in March, writing that they made the "difficult decision to divorce."&nbsp;
The couple met in 2010 and got married less than a year after meeting. Since then, they share a 10-year-old son, Tennesee James, whom they are committed to co-parenting.

Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix

In perhaps the messiest of the biggest celebrity breakups of 2023 is <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/celebrities-who-you-forgot-starred-on-reality-tv" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Vanderpump Rules</a> stars Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix. They met on the show when Madix joined the cast in 2013, confirming their relationship a year later.&nbsp;
However, it recently came out that Sandoval had been cheating on his girlfriend of nine years with a costar from the show, Raquel Leviss. The news broke in March and Madix took to Instagram (which is clearly becoming the preferred platform for any sort of relationship announcement) to say: "To say I have been devasted and broken is an understatement." While Sandoval has confirmed his return to Vanderpump Rules season 11, it is unclear if Leviss or Madix will be joining him.

Avril Lavigne and Mod Sun

The singers called off their engagement in February after around two years. <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/avril-lavigne-style-evolution-pop-punk-2000s-resurgence" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lavigne</a> and Mod Sun were first seen together in February 2021 and soon announced their engagement a year later in March 2022. Now, a year after that the couple has called it quits.&nbsp;
The two released conflicting statements about the breakup and status of their relationship, with a source of Mod Sun telling <a href="https://www.etonline.com/mod-sun-breaks-silence-on-avril-lavigne-split-after-engagement-ends-199987" target="_blank" rel="noopener">ET</a> that Lavigne had told him "they were together and engaged as of three days ago when he left for tour, so if anything has changed that's new to him." On the other hand, the source for Lavigne clarified that "Avril and Mod Sun have broken up and called off their engagement. Things haven't been great between Avril and Mod Sun for quite some time, and after trying to make things work, Avril realized the relationship wasn't right for her." Talk about a lack of communication.
