After over twenty years together, Isla Fisher and Sascha Baron Cohen announced on April 5 via Instagram story that they filed for divorce in 2023. 

"After a long tennis match lasting over twenty years, we are finally putting our racquets down. In 2023 we jointly filed to end our marriage," the couple wrote. "We have always prioritized our privacy, and have been quietly working through this change. We forever share in our devotion and love for our children. We sincerely appreciate your respecting our family’s wish for privacy."

The former couple were married for 13 years and share three children, who they will co-parent following the official divorce. 

Kim Kardashian and Odell Beckham Jr. have been romantically linked for over a year, but according to sources close to the pair, they are "no longer seeing one another," per the Daily Mail. The breakup has come as a shock to fans, especially given that the former couple was spotted at Beyoncé and Jay-Z's Oscars afterparty just weeks prior. The Skims co-founder also posted a selfie to Instagram with the caption "miss you," which fans assumed referred to Beckham several days before news of a breakup emerged, prompting widespread speculation about what could have happened between the two in just a few days.

Actress Natalie Portman filed for divorce from her husband, Benjamin Millepied, in July 2023 after reports that the dancer engaged in an affair emerged. People reported that a source close to the couple remarked "It was short-lived and it is over," in reference to the affair shortly after the news emerged. In February 2024, the divorce was finalized, and the couple, who were married for over 11 years, have officially separated.

In February 2024, Romeo Beckham and model Mia Regan announced their split after five years together. The pair took to Instagram to share the unfortunate news, but assured fans that there was no bad blood between them. Regan said that although they are no longer linked romantically, the pair still "share lots & lots of love for one another." The former couple, who are now both 21, began dating at 16 and made their first red carpet appearance at the November 2021 British Fashion Awards.

Beckham echoed Regan's statement in a February 25 Instagram story, saying “We still have a lot of love and respect for each other, and still hold a strong friendship and always will ”

Beloved Gen-Z couple Charli D'Amelio and Landon Barker shared news of their split in February 2024.

"Hey everyone, I would like to let you guys know that Charli and I are no longer together. We broke up to focus on ourselves," Barker shared via a February 2024 Instagram Story. The former couple were first linked after they were spotted leaving Barker's Los Angeles concert in June 2022 and began publically posting about their relationship a month later. In October 2023, D'Amelio shared that the couple adopted a dog together, and in June 2023, Barker revealed that he got a tattoo of D'Amelio's eye, leading fans to speculate that the two were in it for the long run. In March 2024, however, Barker released a song titled "Over You," which fans have speculated was written about the TikTok influencer and instantly dashed hopes of a Chardon reunion. 

The Riverdale actor and his longtime girlfriend, French model Clara Berry, have split after four years as of March 2024. The pair share a two-year-old son, who they plan to co-parent, according to Berry, who said, “We are doing the best we can,” in an Instagram Q&A. 

“I think it’s better to have parents, who are separated, who are happy and who can be the best version of themselves, than staying together in a situation that is not working,” said Berry in the same Instagram Q&A. "I am not with my son 50 percent of the time and therefore won't know 50 percent of his life. That is something that is hard to accept."

The news of a split came as a surprise to fans, especially given the numerous hints that Apa has dropped throughout their relationship that the two were well on their way to marriage. 

After four years of marriage, singer Ellie Goulding and her husband, Caspar Jopling, announced a separation in February 2024. “In light of recent stories, I feel I have been left with no choice but to let you all know that Caspar and I privately separated some time ago,” said Goulding in an Instagram story. The couple share a son, Arthur, who was born in 2021. 

“Ellie and I remain the closest of friends, and most importantly, co-parents to the best kiddo in the world, Arthur,” Jopling said in an Instagram story, echoing Goulding's sentiments. 

As of March 2024, Larsa Pippen, 49, and Marcus Jordan, 33, have reportedly ended their two-year relationship. "They have decided to take some time apart to reevaluate their relationship. This has nothing to do with any family input, but solely for their personal growth," a source close to the pair told USA Today.

The former couple has been the subject of intense public and private scrutiny due to a sizeable 16-year age gap. Legendary basketball player and father to Marcus Jodan, Michael Jordan, reportedly told paparazzi he did not approve of the couple, which has led to strife within the family. 

Actress Kaya Scodelario and Benjamin Walker have ended their eight-year marriage, as announced in February 2024. The former couple are parents to an 8-year-old son, to whom Scodelario's longtime friend and former Skins co-star Daniel Kaluuya is a godfather, and a 3-year-old daughter.

In January 2024, The Shade Room reported that a source close to rappers YG and Saweetie confirmed that the former couple has split. TSR shared the news via Instagram in a statement that said: "this was a mutual decision and the two both feel as though they’d be better off as friends."

The pair were first linked in April 2023, when they were spotted at Coachella together and confirmed their relationship later that year. 

As of January 2024, Silk Sonic singer Anderson .Paak and Jae Lin Chang have officially filed for divorce, marking an end to their 13-year marriage. The couple share two sons, who are six and 13, and according to court documents obtained by People, the singer has filed for joint physical and legal custody of the children. The separation has been kept under wraps, and representatives of the former couple have not made any public statements on the divorce. 

Months of speculation have slowly ramped up to pseudo-certainty around a Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez (Bennifer) divorce. After selling the Beverly Hills mansion that they purchased together for about $65 million, they appeared to begin living apart although they continued co-parenting their children.

Then, the pair spent their wedding anniversary on completely different coasts of the U.S., before TMZ reported that they had not been talking and were dragging out their divorce. The cherry on top: on Affleck's birthday, Lopez simply posted a photo of herself in Dior, and nothing more.

Madelyn Cline and Pete Davidson were rumored to be an item in September 2023 and although it sent the internet into a frenzy, the pair kept their relationship almost completely under wraps. They were rarely spotted together in public, but seemed to be going strong as recently as April with Us Weekly reporting that "they are very much in love," but things ended rather suddenly on reportedly amicable terms in August 2024.
