She launched her lingerie label Elle Macpherson Intimates in 1990. Featured in thousands of magazine issues like L'OFFICIEL, Vogue, Elle, and Harper's Bazaar, the iconic model has been no stranger to campaigns, editorial work, and runway shows.&nbsp;
The Australian beauty was scouted on a trip to <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/travel-living/french-restaurants-nyc-dining-guide" target="_blank" rel="noopener">NYC</a> before enrolling in Sydney College in the '80s. First signed to Click Model Management in 1982, she was regarded as a "girl next door" figure throughout Australia. She appeared on five covers of Sports Illustrated: 1986, 1987, 1988, 1995, and 2006. The worldwide infatuation with Macpherson led to her nickname "The Body."&nbsp;In 1994, Elle Macpherson made her acting debut starring in&nbsp;Sirens as an artist's muse. Continuing with her acting career, she was featured in Alice, Batman &amp; Robin and&nbsp;The Mirror Has Two Faces&nbsp;with Barbara Streisand.
