Emily Ratajkowski Welcomes First Baby Boy

Emily Ratajkowski gave birth to her first child with Sebastian Bear McClard on Monday.

Model and actress Emily Ratajkowski and husband Sebastian Bear McClard welcome their first baby boy. Their son was born on Monday March 8, 2021, according to an Instagram post from the new mom.

Sharing the baby news, Ratajkowski posted a picture of herself breastfeeding the newborn with the baby's name announcement included in the caption: "Sylvester Apollo Bear has joined us earth side. Sly arrived 3/8/21 on the most surreal, beautiful, and love-filled morning of my life."

Ratajkowski announced her pregancy last October with an intimate video directed by her friend Lena Dunham. Since then, she's shared snapshots of her baby bump at different stages of her pregancy journey.

Besides preparing for motherhood, the model has been getting ready to launch her first book of essays, My Body, which is expected to release later this year. Ratajkowski has been outspoken about her experience as a woman in the modeling and film industries, and her previous essays on the topic have moved readers. Ratajkowski will no doubt continue to inspire in her new role as mom.
