There&#39;s no doubt&nbsp;that her career is a great success, gaining worldwide prominence and earning the singer the title of Princess of Pop. But what was the cost of fame in her personal life? Since she was a young girl, Spears has been scrutinized in headlines and become the target of cristicism. Over a decade ago, Spears was put under the guardianship of her father, James Spears, who oversees her finances and makes important decisions for her. In a new documentary titled&nbsp;Framing Britney Spears, a closer look is taken at the conservatorship the star has been subjected to since 2008, when her psychological problems began filling tabloids.

Why would Spears, who has&nbsp;released albums, toured, and become an&nbsp;X-Factor&nbsp;judge, need a legal guardian at 39 years old? This question led fans of the singer to create the&nbsp;Free Britney movement, which protests the conservatorship and demands that she be free to make her own decisions. The guardianship prevents Spears from doing many things without her father&#39;s authorization, including driving, voting, and becoming pregnant.
