Why Fans Think Harry Styles Will Headline Super Bowl 2024
Already looking up when tickets go on sale.
Harries rise — we're taking on football.
On Tuesday, independent reporter MLFootball tweeted that Harry Styles may be the headliner for the 2024 Super Bowl Halftime show. "There’s been a lot of chatter, that multiple-time GRAMMY award winner and former One Direction Star Harry Styles will be the 2024 Super Bowl Halftime Show Performer," the tweet read.
As expected, the Styles' stans were thrown into a frenzy and have yet to recover. Pop culture account Pop Hive retweeted the news, where fans showed their utmost support for the alleged decision. "Will be watching," "King of pop Harry will make history at the super bowl. We won," "will definitely be watching," among many other reactions all flooded the comment section.
This is not the first time Styles was rumored to perform the halftime show. Many thought he would take the stage for the 2023 performance, in which it ended up being Rihanna who drew in record-breaking viewership and announced the pregnancy of her second child.
In 2020, Styles was prepared to perform a Pre-Super Bowl show in Miami, though it was ultimately canceled due to inclement weather. Now the former One Directioner has his name brought up once again. What's that saying? Third time's a charm?
Following the success of his ongoing Love On Tour and his jaw-dropping win for "Album of the Year" at the 2023 Grammy's, a headlining Super Bowl halftime performance only continues Styles' upward trajectory of superstardom.
The real question is: Will there finally be the long overdue One Direction reunion we have all been impatiently waiting for?
