He's heavily collaborated with <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/all-the-celebrities-showing-support-for-taylor-swift-buying-masters-back" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Taylor Swift</a>, produced <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/lorde-reveals-her-gender-identity-in-interview-genderfluid" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lorde's</a>&nbsp;Melodrama, and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/lana-del-rey-age-birthday-alessandro-michele-photo-look-valentino-gucci" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lana Del Rey's</a> Norman F*cking Rockwell! and serves as the frontman for his own band, The Bleachers. And while we could spend a lot of time writing about Antonoff's prolific music career, it is well known that he has had a prolific love life as well.&nbsp;
While Antonoff has made a name for himself, he has also been attached to plenty of famous actresses and models, further propelling him into the spotlight. His love life has recently left people buzzing after the release of <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/lena-dunham-girls-new-show-too-much-netflix-cast-meg-stalter-emily-ratajkowski" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lena Dunham's</a> new Netflix show,&nbsp;Too Much.&nbsp;Dunham and Antonoff dated for around five years, and while the two were only ever seen smiling together on the red carpet, Dunham's new semi-autobiographical show makes it known that their relationship was far from perfect.
A few years after Antonoff split from the&nbsp;Girls star, he began dating the actress <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/actress-margaret-qualley-facts-andie-macdowell-daughter" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Margaret Qualley</a>, and the two were married in 2023. Qualley is the daughter of fellow actress Andie MacDowell and has made a name for herself in movies and TV shows such as The Substance&nbsp;and&nbsp;Maid. The two have been happily married since tying the knot at a ceremony in Antonoff's home state of New Jersey, which brought out both <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/the-handmaids-tale-taylor-swift-reputation-taylors-version-season-6" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Taylor Swift</a> and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/lana-del-rey-best-fashion-moments-grammys-lyrics" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lana Del Rey</a>. Antonoff's dating history starts impressively strong with none other than Scarlett Johansson. The two reportedly met while attending the Professional Children's School in New York. While at the performing arts high school, Antonoff formed his band Steel Train, and Johansson solidified her acting career, going on to star in <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/best-dressed-celebrities-bal-d-ete-paris-couture-week-musee-des-arts-decoratifs" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Sofia Coppola's</a> Lost in Translation&nbsp;a year after graduating. But before he wrote chart-topping songs and starred in blockbuster films, the two attended the prom together in 2002.&nbsp;

By 2009, Antonoff had joined the band Fun. as the lead guitarist, but he also went on to date another actress. His relationship with the Arrested Development&nbsp;star, Alia Shawkat, remained mostly out of the spotlight, but it proves that Antonoff definitely has a type. Years after their breakup, Shawkat starred in the 2017 music video for the Bleachers' song "Don't Take the Money," directed by Antonoff's then-girlfriend, Lena Dunham.&nbsp;

Antonoff's longest relationship before his marriage was with the writer and actress Lena Dunham. They reportedly met on a blind date set up by the comedian Mike Birbiglia in 2012 and dated until December 2017. The musician and actress were definitely an "it couple," as they dated during the premiere of Dunham's iconic TV show, Girls.&nbsp;
In Dunham's new show, Too Much, which is loosely based on her split from Antonoff and subsequent move to London, she shows the dark side of their relationship. Though we can't take the show's portrayal of the relationship as the complete truth, as the actress told&nbsp;<a href="https://variety.com/2025/tv/features/lena-dunham-too-much-netflix-girls-revival-1236447391/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Variety</a>, "It's certainly not quote-unquote based on a true story. But like everything I do, there is an element of my own life that I can't help but inject."

Shortly after Antonoff and Dunham broke up, the producer was spotted with the model Carlotta Kohl, despite heavy rumors that he and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/lorde-2025-tour-dates-new-album" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lorde</a> had paired up. Fans' speculations went as far as the creation of a 30-slide PowerPoint to prove the two were dating. Both Antonoff and Lorde have come out publicly denying any relationship. During the height of these rumors, he was dating Kohl, but their relationship remained relatively private outside of a 2020 Grammys appearance. Antonoff and Kohl broke up soon after.

Antonoff and Qualley were caught kissing in August 2021 in New York City, but did not make a public appearance until March 2022 at the Critics Choice Awards. Only a couple of months later, did fans notice the ring on Qualley's finger at the Cannes Film Festival in May. Shortly after, she proved the rumors to be true in a now-deleted Instagram post. In March 2023, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/lana-del-rey-boyfriends-dating-relationship-history-engaged" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lana Del Rey</a> included the song "Margaret," which she worked on with Antonoff about Margaret Qualley, in her album Did You Know That There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd. The couple was married that August in New Jersey and has been together ever since.&nbsp;
