Kim Kardashian Builds Mini KKW Beauty Store in Her Backyard
The mother of four is building a kid-sized town with a store for her beauty line and a Starbucks in the back of her Calabasas estate.
From her self-titled beauty line to her Skims lingerie brand, whatever Kim Kardashian wants, she makes for herself. Now, it seems she wants her own town—or at least a version of one. Recent photos of the Keeping Up with the Kardashian star's Calabasas property show the burgeoning "Lil Hidden Hills" taking up greenery in her backyard. Past the archway entrance, the single-road village comes with bite-sized configurations of her KKW Beauty store, a Starbucks, an ATM machine, a Lego castle, a restaurant called West Diner, and a fire station.
It's unclear what prompted the construction, as none of Kardashian's children have birthdays in the near future. However, Easter is only a week away and the family has been known to go all out when it comes to holiday celebrations.
The beauty mogul recently secured her home during divorce negotiations with her estranged husband Kanye West. After sources reported in early January that the couple was planning to divorce, Kardashian filed the paperwork last month. In their settlement, the couple agreed to share custody of their four children, and Kardashian would stay in their Hidden Hills mansion so the kids could continue living in their family home.
The division of the home was, specifically, a point of concern throughout the legal negotiations as the rapper owns the actual house, while Kardashian is the owner of the property. However, West has spent most of his time in recent months at their Wyoming ranch.
