It seems Kim Kardashian has to face style critics even inside her house.

The star is constantly stepping out in daring looks and always looking for pieces that are out of the ordinary&mdash;think: her <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/kim-kardashian-space-cowboy-costume-theirry-mugler-halloween-2021" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mugler</a> "Wet Look" or her <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/history-of-maison-schiaparelli-elsa-schiaparelli-shocking-pink-daniel-roseberry" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Schiaparelli</a> Christmas outfit. 
What may come as a surprise is that, although fans enjoy the Skims founder's exciting fashion moments, she doesn't always get the same reaction at home from her eldest daughter, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/north-west-viral-moments-nori-kim-kanye" target="_blank" rel="noopener">North West,</a>&nbsp;who doesn't approve of what she wears.

Recently, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/pete-davidson-branded-kim-kardashian-name-on-body-tattoos" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kardashian</a> attended a Vogue event and confessed that her daughter has a very strong opinion about her looks. "She always complains when I'm wearing too much black. I showed up to her school on Valentine's Day wearing pink from head to toe, and she was so excited that she ran over and hugged me. [But] she opened my coat, saw the black lining, and said, 'Mom, you're still wearing black.'"
Now 8 years old, West is the firstborn child of <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/kim-kardashian-fashion-style-rome-vacation" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kardashian</a> and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/kanye-west-yeezy-gap-engineered-by-balenciaga-collaboration-demna" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ye (formerly known as Kanye West)</a>. Even at a young age, she's already been on magazine covers, participated in her father's fashion shows, and is a very creative young woman with strong opinions. Her father has previously stated that his daughter has already put him to work as her assistant.

&ldquo;There are times when North wants to make a bubble wrap dress in the morning, and I become her assistant stylist for 20 minutes. Suddenly she's yelling at me, 'You didn't hold the plastic right, you'll never sell any clothes like that.' It's a 5-year-old saying I'm never going to sell any clothes, saying I'm not a good designer. I'm like, 'Damn, you're worse than the Internet, North. Let's go now. Someone is going to buy these brown sweatshirts,'&rdquo; said Ye.
