After a five-year hiatus from releasing print issues, Playboy is officially making its grand return this February— and they're coming back in style with 28-year-old model and entrepreneur Lori Harvey gracing the cover.
Playboyhas been a cultural force for decades, known for celebrating sensuality and pushing boundaries with its provocative covers and thought-provoking content. To tease the exciting comeback, Playboy and Harvey took to Instagram with a sultry behind-the-scenes look at the shoot. In the footage, Harvey opens the teaser with a plunging backless dress teasing a g-string before slipping into a shimmering latex lingerie bodysuit paired with feathered boots.
Harvey, daughter of TV personality Steve Harvey, has carved out her own path in the fashion and beauty industries. As the founder of Skn, a skincare brand celebrated for its inclusive approach, and a sought-after model in high fashion circles, she’s become a fixture on red carpets and magazine covers alike.
Playboy, originally founded by Hugh Hefner in 1953, halted its print operations in 2020, pivoting to a digital-first model amid the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the magazine seems to be ready to go back to its roots.
