According to Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly, modern romance involves blood rituals.

Controversial lovers actress <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/megan-fox-style-evolution" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Megan Fox</a> and musician <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/beauty/mens-skincare-nail-polish-brands-celebrity-mgk-harry-styles">Machine Gun Kelly</a> seem to have a blood fixation. After Fox announced their <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/megan-fox-and-machine-gun-kelly-engaged-video">engagement</a> in a poetic Instagram post, she revealed that they &ldquo;drank each other&rsquo;s blood&rdquo; as the romantic close to her acceptance of his proposal.
Yes, that's right. Drank. Each. Other's. Blood. Needless to say, this isn't a traditional engagement custom, but it's been clear since the beginning of their relationship that these two are anything but traditional.

In true early 2000&rsquo;s <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/angelina-jolie-best-90s-y2k-fashion-moments" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Angelina Jolie</a> and Billy Bob Thornton fashion, Fox also gave a blood vial necklace to her now-fianc&eacute; as a proclamation of love for Valentine's Day last year. &ldquo;I wear your blood around my neck,&rdquo; Kelly wrote in an Instagram caption.
He later explained that the memento was a way to cherish Fox's absence while she was away filming a movie. "Well, she was actually going out of town to film a movie," the "Bloody Valentine" singer said on The Ellen Degeneres Show. "Some people give, like, a handkerchief to their partner or whatever. She gave me her DNA."

Perhaps Fox&rsquo;s role as a man-eating demon in <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/halloween-movies-streaming-netflix-amazon-prime-disney" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jennifer&rsquo;s Body</a> was the source of her real-life taste for blood or Kelly&rsquo;s emo affinities. But more realistically, the couple just has a very intense bond. In an interview with <a href="https://www.nylon.com/entertainment/machine-gun-kelly-tickets-to-my-downfall-pop-punk-megan-fox" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Nylon</a>, Fox said, &ldquo;the intensity of merging with him is just overwhelming, and the threat it poses is so powerful but so beautiful.&rdquo;
While fans are still left without an explanation for the blood-drinking comment (maybe it was a joke, maybe she was serious), it's clear that these two are bonded for life.
