After making controversial statements on the 2009 Golden Globes red carpet, the actress made a dramatic change in her drinking habits.

After some time away from the spotlight, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/megan-fox-style-evolution" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Megan Fox</a> is back with a vengeance and she's bringing with her several stories from her early years in Hollywood. While a glass of wine or even a cocktail with friends can seem like something natural, the actress revealed she cut out alcohol from her diet altogether after an embarrassing moment on a major award show red carpet.
While reminiscing on some of her most memorable fashion moments in an interview with <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BrH7f9-rgOY" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Who What Wear</a>, Fox stopped on her <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/ralph-lauren-spring-summer-2021" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ralph Lauren</a> gown from the 2009 Golden Globes. After saying admitting that she didn't like her hair in the photo, she shared a story from that night. She recalled, &ldquo;I was sitting at a table with <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/blake-lively-postpartum-body-clothes-struggle" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Blake Lively</a> and all three <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/men/nick-jonas-spaceman-new-album-priyanka-chopra-interview" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jonas Brothers</a>. At the Golden Globes, they always put those giant bottles of Mo&euml;t champagne on the table. I went through multiple glasses of that."

She continued, "Now, I don't drink, and this is why. I was belligerent and said a bunch of shit that I shouldn't have said on the red carpet after that." However, this was not the end of her troubles. "I think I got in a lot of trouble for whatever I said on the red carpet at this event. I don't remember why, but I know that I did. You can look that up," said Fox.

After talking about the incident, TMZ's video of the actress' red carpet interview resurfaced. During the conversation, Fox explains that she's embarrassed and scared to be there and about to throw up because it's her first time at the event. Among her controversial statements, Megan even jokes about going without food for a month after the interviewer praises her body.
