During the Swinging ‘60s era, The Beatles’ George Harrison and model Pattie Boyd were an It couple. After a rocky marriage, the two divorced in 1977. Two years later, in 1979, Boyd married guitarist Eric Clapton, who was friends with Harrison. 

Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger began a relationship with model Jerry Hall in 1977. By 1990, the two unofficially married in a private ceremony in Bali. They had four children together–Elizabeth Scarlett, James Leroy, Georgia May, and Gabriel Luke–but their relationship ultimately ended in 1999 and their marriage was annulled.

After appearing in Billy Joel’s “Uptown Girl” music video, Christie Brinkley married the musician in 1985. Even after their divorce in 1994, the two remained friends.

During the ‘90s, Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose and model Stephanie Seymour became an item, but it didn’t last. By 1993, the briefly engaged couple’s intense yet tumultuous relationship publicly fell apart.

Supermodel Kate Moss and musician Pete Doherty’s short-lived relationship was controversial as the Libertines band member had a bad-boy reputation. After meeting in 2005, the two had an on-and-off relationship until they were briefly engaged in 2007.

A few years after meeting each other, Jack White and Karen Elson married in 2005—with White’s ex-wife Meg White as the maid of honor. Despite bitterly splitting in 2011, the model and musician’s divorce was finalized in 2013. 

Model Lily Aldridge met her husband, Kings of Leon frontman, Caleb Followill at Coachella in 2007. The couple had a private wedding ceremony in 2011 and have two kids together.

In 2013, the Internet went crazy over Harry Styles and Kendall Jenner’s relationship. The two rekindled their romance in 2015 and their on-and-off-again relationship still remains a mystery. While the two don’t seem to be dating right now, the exes remain good friends.

Model Cara Delevingne and musician St. Vincent were secretly dating in 2014, with news of the couple’s relationship status breaking the following year. The two were always pictured as a lovey-dovey pair, but in 2016, the couple split.
