Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost Welcome Baby Boy
The Saturday Night Live star recently confirmed during a stand-up show that the couple was expecting their first child.
Less than a year after their secret wedding, Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost have welcomed their first child, a baby boy, per multiple sources at Page Six. The pair have yet to reveal the child's name.
Last month, rumors that Johansson was pregnant began to swirl when several sources spoke to the same publication, claiming that the actress is already in an advanced stage of pregnancy. Now, everything seems even more real after the Black Widow star's husband talked about it during a stand-up show.
According to sources who were in the audience, the Saturday Night Live comedian was performing in Connecticut over the weekend, when he revealed to the public, "We're having a baby, it's exciting."
It's no wonder the couple chose to keep the pregnancy out of the spotlight for as long as possible, considering they try to keep their personal lives very private. They secretly married in October 2020 in a private ceremony with only close family and friends.
However, with the release of Black Widow, in which Johansson is the protagonist and executive producer, all eyes turned to the actress who, in turn, was not present for much of the press for the film. According to Page Six, Disney organized events to promote the film in big cities such as New York and Los Angeles without the actress who subsequently participated in online interviews. Her absence raised major speculation, but not fans finally have their answer.
The unborn baby is Jost's first child, while Johansson shares her daughter Rose, 6, with her ex-husband Romain Dauriac.
