As the highly anticipated 2024 <a href="https://preview.lofficielusa.com/fashion/15-iconic-met-gala-looks-beyonce-rihanna-bella-hadid-cher" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Met Gala</a> is just a few days away, the internet is buzzing with excitement with hopeful predictions of their favorite celebrity gracing the red carpet in a lavish outfit. The theme for the 2024 Met Gala is "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion" while the dress code is "The Garden of Time."&nbsp;
Confirmed attendees include <a href="https://preview.lofficielusa.com/shopping/tenniscore-trend-zendaya-challengers" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Zendaya</a>, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny, and Chris Hemsworth, as the group are the Met Gala Co-Chairs, but what about other celebrities? Although <a href="https://preview.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/met-gala-2024-guest-list" target="_blank" rel="noopener">the public list</a> of invited celebrities is easy to find, it is up to the celebrity to decide whether to accept the invitation.&nbsp;
So who's attendance have fans been speculating over the most? Only the biggest pop star in the world, of course. Taylor Swift and Chief's football star Travis Kelce have been <a href="https://preview.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/why-taylor-travis-skipped-met-gala-2024" target="_blank" rel="noopener">the topic of conversation</a> when it comes to hopeful appearances on the red carpet, as they are clearly the It couple of 2024.&nbsp;
Swifties lost hope earlier this month when <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2024/04/19/taylor-swift-travis-kelce-not-attending-met-gala-separate-invitations/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">TMZ </a>reported she had <a href="https://preview.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/why-taylor-travis-skipped-met-gala-2024" target="_blank" rel="noopener">declined the invitation</a>, but new rumors suggest there may be hope for the iconic pop star to make an appearance on the red carpet.&nbsp;

So, what's the deal? Are they coming or not? Well, it was suggested earlier that the couple both declined the invitation, stating the reason for their decline remained uncertain, with neither Swift nor Kelce commenting on the invitation.&nbsp;
However, with recent reports from <a href="https://pagesix.com/2024/04/29/celebrity-news/taylor-swift-will-attend-vogues-met-gala-but-unclear-if-travis-kelce-will-join-her-sources/amp/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Page Six</a>, some Swifties remain hopeful. With little to no details, they shared that sources have confirmed that Swift will in fact be attending the Met Gala, but it is unknown if Kelce will be accompanying her.&nbsp;
If the rumors are true, we expect nothing but the best from <a href="https://preview.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/who-are-taylor-swift-best-friends-guide-inner-circle" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Swift</a>, as she is no stranger to the Met Gala. With a total attendance record of six appearances for the iconic night for pop culture and fashion, she first attended in 2008 and was last seen at the event in 2016.
The Met Gala is already held to a high standard in terms of fashion and the celebrities showing the outfits off, but it is sure to grab the attention of the whole internet if Swift does join her fellow A-listers.&nbsp;
