According to a report by MLFootball, the singer has been chosen to perform at the 2025 Super Bowl after being chosen as a finalist for last year's Halftime Show. This honor would mark the performer's first time playing at the halftime show. She previously graced the stage of TikTok's pregame ceremony for Super Bowl LV, where she entertained over eight thousand healthcare professionals. The possibility of Miley Cyrus headlining the show has generated uproar from the fans, who won't stop till they see "Wrecking Ball" at the Super Bowl. 

Another rumored performer and New Orleans native, Lil Wayne, has been on the shortlist for years. The wheezy-voiced rapper, known for hits like "Look At Me Now" and features on songs like "Seeing Green," has expressed his longtime goal of performing at a 2025 Super Bowl Halftime Show. Especially since the legendary performance will be held in his hometown, he's told VIBE he's "praying" for it. Many say he's too rap focused or problematic to headline the show, they'd prefer a more household name. 

Taylor Swift is one such name, and with her connection to football through her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, many feel it's a no-brainer. How could the NFL resist having an Era's tour reprieve as the Super Bowl Halftime Show? A glittery performance, to say the least, with Sabrina Carpenter or Chappelle Roan as a special guest sounds like a night to remember.
