Jason Bateman has spent decades establishing himself as one of Hollywood&rsquo;s most reliable and versatile talents. He first appeared on television as a teenager in the 1980s, earning smaller parts in series and films before stepping into the spotlight with his career-defining role as Michael Bluth in Arrested Development (2003). The offbeat comedy cemented his status as both a comedic actor and a fan favorite, setting the stage for a career that would seamlessly straddle television, film, and now streaming.
Bateman has since built a reputation for balancing sharp humor with understated depth, starring in hits like Horrible Bosses, Game Night, and the acclaimed Netflix series Ozark, which also showcased his skill behind the camera as a director. Now, he&rsquo;s once again expanding his creative direction with Black Rabbit, a Netflix limited series co-starring Jude Law.
In Black Rabbit, Bateman steps away from his polished, straight-man roles to embody a darker, more weathered character. Sporting an unkempt beard and clothes that probably need a good dry-cleaning, he looks almost unrecognizable. Not only does he star in the gritty crime drama, but he also directs, adding another layer of creative control to the project.
