While partying with L'OFFICIEL and Mo&euml;t &amp; Chandon, brother and sister music duo Jos&eacute;phine and Alexander de la Baume talk about the untouchable role of champagne in social gatherings, and the '90s aesthetic that inspires their music, fashion, and everyday lives.&nbsp;

Attending the centennial celebration of L&rsquo;OFFICIEL and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/travel-living/moet-and-chandon-lofficiel-100-year-champagne-celebration" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mo&euml;t &amp; Chandon Grand Vintage</a> champagne&mdash;both born in France&mdash;Jos&eacute;phine and Alexandre de la Baume, the siblings behind the band Film Noir, reflect on the timeless edge of the '90s and their appreciation for champagne in hotel rooms.
 Like the smooth, warm, and powerful tones of the Mo&euml;t &amp; Chandon Grand Vintage Collection 1990, the La Baume duo infuse their music, social lives, and personal style with youthful passion and spontaneity.

L'OFFICIEL: How do you feel about being at Ch&acirc;teau Mo&euml;t &amp; Chandon?
Jos&eacute;phine de la Baume: We arrived at six in the morning in the fog and I couldn't see much, so I think I'm just now discovering it. But now I'm seeing it and it looks incredible. What do we feel? Nature is beautiful.
Alexandre de la Baume: Yeah, there are magical landscapes.&nbsp;
JB:&nbsp;It's always nice to discover a new part of France, and of course it's where this wonderful drink is made.
 L'O: What's your favorite way to drink champagne? Where and how?
JB: In hotel rooms.
AB: Yeah, in a sort of social gathering.
JB: The thing is, I think a hotel room gives space for a lot of imagination.
 L'O: Do you need an occasion to drink champagne?
JB: Do you need an occasion to go to a hotel room?

L'O: Do you prefer drinking champagne from a coupe or a flute?
JB: I hate a coupe.
AB: Your a flute person. I'm a coupe person.&nbsp; 
&nbsp;L'O: What are you toasting to this holiday season?
JB: The fact that we can spend Christmas with our family this time. Last year I was in London and he was in Paris.&nbsp;
AB: We couldn't see each other; it was the most depressing Christmas.
JB: We were on Facetime.
 L'O: Can you speak about the '90s and what they mean to you?
AB: The '90s are an era of freedom, and extreme creativity. The birth of indie culture, no? Like the '80s were very pop and very colorful, and the '90s were darker but a bit more indie, too, with bands like the Pixies, Nirvana&mdash;more rock, underground culture. That's what comes to mind when I think about the '90s: indie culture, freedom, creativity.
JB: And we got to witness it.&nbsp;
