Le Palais Bulles or better knowm as the&nbsp;&quot;Bubble Palace&quot; is a beautiful villa located in Th&eacute;oule-sur-Mer, near <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/cannes-film-festival-best-red-carpet-fashion" target="_blank">Cannes</a>, France. The villa,&nbsp;built between 1975 and 1989, was designed by the Hungarian architect Antti Lovag. It was originally built for a French industrialist and later bought by late fashion designer <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/pierre-cardin-death-fashion-legacy" target="_blank">Pierre Cardin</a> as a holiday home.

The French designer of Italian descent died on December 29, 2020 at the American Hospital of Paris, in Neuilly-sur-Seine&nbsp;at 98 years old.&nbsp;Not only was <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop%20culture/pierre-cardin-the-house-of-cardin-documentary-film" target="_blank">Cardin</a> a legendary&nbsp;designer in the fashion world, his taste and sense of aesthetics extended well beyond his own professional work,&nbsp;which is&nbsp;evident in his personal taste in architecture and design. Therefore, it&#39;s not surprising that he owned one of the most Instagrammable and globally known <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/travel-living/adam-charlap-hyman-follies-architecture-history" target="_blank">architectural</a> gems:&nbsp;the iconic, pink Palais Bulles. The 13,000 square foot house was built for French industrialist Pierre Bernard. The home&nbsp;includes an indoor hall, a panoramic lounge, an open-air theater with 500 seats, 10 bedrooms, several swimming pools,&nbsp;and waterfalls in extensive landscaped grounds. After Bernard&#39;s death in 1991,&nbsp;Cardin&nbsp;purchased the home as a personal getaway spot. Each of the&nbsp;bedrooms have been decorated by a different artists, including Patrice Breteau, Jerome Tisserand, Daniel You, Fran&ccedil;ois Chauvin, and Gerard Cloarec.

In March 2017, the pink palace was <a href="https://wwd.com/fashion-news/fashion-scoops/pierre-cardins-bubble-palace-sale-335m-10559588/" target="_blank">put up for sale</a> for an asking price of $456 million. However,&nbsp;Le Palais Bulles remains a private property and cannot be visited.
