As the leaves on the trees gradually turn amber, the imminence of the brisk autumn season looms. But just because the summer is nearing to a close does not mean the festivities have to end. If you’re looking for a stimulating way to immerse yourself in culture this fall, a trip to a museum is the perfect opportunity to help you cope with your post-summer vacation blues.

This year, the fall exhibits are particularly fascinating and worth the time to witness in-person. Museums around the world – from New York to Italy – are featuring dazzling designs by iconic couturiers, works exploring diverse communities, and ready-to-wear ensembles worn by cultural icons. Here are some of the most breathtaking and enlightening exhibitions to experience this fall.
