In a new gallery curation dedicated to the history of generative art from the 1960s to now, Sotheby's upcoming auction allows buyers to build their physical and digital art collections.

Luxury auction house <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/louis-vuitton-nike-air-force-1-sothebys-charity-auction" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Sotheby&rsquo;s</a> will be presenting the first-ever auction dedicated to generative art, centering around pioneering artists of the genre Vera Moln&aacute;r, Chuck Csuri, and Roman Verostko.&nbsp;
Continuing <a href="https://lofficielusa.com/art/sothebys-ryan-murphy-andy-warhol-contemporary-curated" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Sotheby&rsquo;s</a> Natively Digital NFT series, Natively Digital 1.3: Generative Art is a hybrid auction that expanses digital <a href="https://lofficielusa.com/fashion/nfts-luxury-fashion-collaborations-gucci-louis-vuitton" target="_blank" rel="noopener">NFT</a> pieces and physical works following the theme of the generative art movement. While Moln&aacute;r, Csuri, and Verostko will be launching their first-ever NFTs for sale, the auction will also feature the works of other current generative artists including Dmitri Cherniak, Tyler Hobbs, IX Shells, among several others.

&ldquo;NFTs are connected with the history of 20th-century art movements, including the early generative artists who paved the way for computer art and the algorithm based art,&rdquo; says Sotheby&rsquo;s vice-president Michael Bouhanna. &ldquo;Building on that legacy, the current generation of generative artists, with an especially a large proportion of women artists, featured in this curated sale are expanding and redefining the form for the 21st century.&rdquo;
