The luxury fashion label honors its roots with 10 new scents.

<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/cristobal-balenciaga-signature-looks-sack-dress-egg-coat" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Crist&oacute;bal Balenciaga</a> introduced Le Dix, his namesake house&rsquo;s first (and often forgotten) fragrance, in 1947. Today, the brand finally reenters the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/men/best-mens-spring-fragrances-cologne" target="_blank" rel="noopener">fragrance</a> realm&mdash;and with the launch of a 10-scent collection, it&rsquo;s determined to remind us of its olfactory heritage.&nbsp;
That was precisely the mission of Balenciaga&rsquo;s archivists, who embarked on a 15-year search to locate an original Le Dix perfume, now relegated to ancient artifact status. Eventually, one of the few remaining bottles in the world was procured; then, it was scanned and faithfully reproduced. The new range of genderless, timeless offerings features the same design as their predecessor, down to the globular glass cap and hand-tied ribbon.

At its core, the collection is all about merging past and present. Each bottle is housed in a replica of the original box, which has been deliberately aged by technology and boasts the original brand logo against its gray packaging, a contemporary signature. Le Dix, too, has been revived in its original formula; the scent is accompanied by nine fresh fragrances that boast very Balenciaga names. Standouts include the woody No Comment, the smoky Incense Perfumum, and the oud oil&ndash;infused Crist&oacute;bal, a tribute to Mr. Balenciaga himself.&nbsp;

Getaria also pays homage to the founder, taking its name from his coastal Spanish birthplace and featuring notes of salty citrus and pink pepper. The latter combines with heated black pepper oil in Extra, a scent that&rsquo;s as vibrant as its moniker. Also on the maximal side, 100% and To Be Confirmed skew floral, while the ambrette seed and iris accord of Muscara lean sensual and warm. Last but not least is Twenty Four Seven, a tranquil <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/vanilla-girl-aesthetic-tiktok-viral-style-trend-fashion" target="_blank" rel="noopener">vanilla</a> absolute&ndash;imbued scent that, true to its name, deserves to be worn around the clock.
