1. To soothe and calm skin

This is an extremely cool and relaxing face mask that cleanses and moisturizes the face. It offers deep hydration from coconut oil, giving the skin a burst of antioxidants with honey and soothes redness with lavender oil. Mix all the ingredients and apply them on your face with a brush to feel the spa experience as much as possible.

  • a teaspoon of honey
  • a teaspoon of coconut oil
  • ripe avocado
  • 2 drops of lavender oil

2. To make skin glow

If you want to soften your skin and prevent signs of aging, such as wrinkles, fine lines, and dark spots, this is the recipe you to follow. Pumpkin contains vitamins A, C, E, and antioxidants, which help get rid of various skin blemishes. In addition, the pumpkin helps to exfoliate dead skin cells. Mix all the ingredients, apply them on the face and under the eyes, leave it for 15 minutes, and rinse with lukewarm water. Do not forget to use your moisturizer.

  • 2 tablespoons organic raw pumpkin puree
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon raw honey
  • 1 organic egg yolk
  • 2 teaspoons oatmeal

3. Minimize pores

Unfortunately, there is no way to close all your pores, but there is a way to make them less noticeable. Egg and lemon have astringent properties that will tighten your skin, while honey will moisturize and make your skin feel more supple.

  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • a little lemon juice

4. For oily skin

This is the perfect face mask recipe for oily skin that will make it look clean and fresh. Cucumber helps hydrate the skin and also reduces any breakout activity on the face because it contains vitamin C. Combined with avocado, which adjusts oil production, it will reduce any inflammation and make your skin glow.

5. For dry skin

Avocado, in combination with olive oil, is also ideal for dry skin. These two ingredients will help seal cracks between skin cells. Honey and yogurt will make your skin feel wonderfully soft.

  • 1 avocado
  • 2 tablespoons plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey

6. For sensitive skin

If your skin is sensitive and red, cocoa powder helps with irritation. Yogurt is rich in probiotics and honey tightens the skin.

  • 1 tablespoon yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder

What to avoid

These masks are safe for your skin as they do not contain chemical ingredients but there are some tips you should know and what to avoid before putting any mask on your face.

First, you need to avoid applying certain ingredients directly to your face without first mixing them. For example, lemons and apple cider vinegar can make the skin sensitive to light and possibly cause skin whitening.

Also, pay attention to product expiration dates. Finally, you should use the mask the same day you make it, ingredients that are exposed to air and bacteria can irritate your skin. Prefer to make your mask with fresh ingredients and use it within an hour.
