Hourglass&rsquo;s Holiday Collection includes three versatile makeup brushes and three palettes, each housed in luxe tin packaging. Every palette contains three blushes, one setting powder, one highlighter, and one bronzer from the iconic Ambient Lighting Collection&mdash;this time in 12 brand new shades.&nbsp;
This collection marks Hourglass&rsquo;s first-ever tattoo artist collaboration, featuring collectible packaging designed by Sasha Unisex, known for her bold, geometric watercolor style. True to the brand&rsquo;s reputation for artistry and luxury, the palettes are handcrafted in Italy.&nbsp;
&ldquo;The Hourglass Holiday palettes are designed to deliver the Hourglass signature, radiant glow. At the heart of each formula is our exclusive Photoluminescent Technology, which works to diffuse and soften surrounding light,&rdquo; said Hourglass Global Artist Adam Sidwell. 
&ldquo;The result is more than color, shape, and dimension, it&rsquo;s a transformative finish that blurs imperfections, refines texture, and creates the effect of skin that appears softly focused and seamlessly lit from within,&rdquo; Sidwell added.&nbsp;
In line with Hourglass&rsquo;s vegan and cruelty-free ethos, the brand will also continue its annual give-back initiative: 5% of net profits from the Unlocked Collection will be donated to the Nonhuman Rights Project, a U.S.-based organization dedicated to securing fundamental rights for animals.

Each also comes in a pre-set edition, thoughtfully curated with a mix of fan-favorite classics and brand new shades.&nbsp;

As for the Holiday Collection brushes, the three double-ended brushes are designed to pair with the Fox, Swan, and Deer palettes. Each brush is designed for versatility: a slanted end sweeps on blush or bronzer with precision, while the domed, tapered end is perfect for applying highlighter. Finished with a sleek, weighted metal handle, they bring the same luxe feel as the palettes they&rsquo;re made to complement.

I had the chance to get an exclusive preview of the new Hourglass Holiday Collection ahead of launch, and&mdash;as always&mdash;it truly delivered. The palettes come in sleek packaging with a built-in mirror that&rsquo;s surprisingly lightweight, making them perfect for travel. Honestly, it&rsquo;s the only palette you&rsquo;d need to pack: everything&rsquo;s in one place, the shades are customizable, and most powders can even double as eyeshadow.
The finishing powder provides a diffused, soft-focus effect that mattifies oily areas and sets makeup seamlessly. The blushes, highlighters, and bronzers are richly pigmented yet buildable, giving you control for day-to-night looks. On <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/beauty/moisturizers-for-oily-skin-summer-2024" target="_blank" rel="noopener">oily to normal skin</a>, they&rsquo;d wear beautifully. For those with dry skin, a good prep is key&mdash;and layering them over creams ensures they blend smoothly without emphasizing texture, as is always the case with powder complexion products.
Truthfully, because I have <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/beauty/best-winter-skincare-dry-skin-moisturizer-expert-tips" target="_blank" rel="noopener">dry, eczema-prone skin</a>, I always gravitate towards cream formulations for blush, bronzer, and contour, and liquid for highlighter. But I have to say, these palettes are the first to reinvigorate my excitement for powder formulations since the iconic Dior Backstage Glow Palette. It hit the right mark on longevity, too&mdash;my makeup stayed intact for a whole night out, which is usually the trade-off I begrudgingly tolerate when wearing <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/beauty/10-cream-blushes-to-add-to-your-makeup-bag-this-summer-rare-beauty" target="_blank" rel="noopener">cream formulas</a>.&nbsp;
The new brushes strike the perfect balance between density and softness, picking up just the right amount of product and blending it effortlessly.
