Maybe your denial about being able to reorganize to make room for new additions is finally catching up to you. At first glance, an under-eye specific powder may seem like a fad&mdash;or even a marketing gimmick. Among the most exciting beauty launches this month is m.ph beauty, the debut brand from celebrity makeup artist Mary Phillips. (If the name doesn&rsquo;t ring a bell, her work will: she&rsquo;s the longtime go-to for Hailey Bieber, Kendall Jenner, and Jennifer Lopez, and has also worked with the likes of Kaia Gerber and Dua Lipa).&nbsp;
If you&rsquo;ve scrolled through beauty socials over the past two years, you&rsquo;ve probably come across her <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/beauty/underpainting-tiktok-beauty-contour-makeup-trend">signature underpainting technique</a>&mdash;the contour-first method that creates a more natural, sculpted look. Instead of layering contour on top of foundation (or other complexion products, for that matter), the technique flips the order: applying a sculpting base first, then blending it out with foundation using a sponge or brush. It sounds counterintuitive at first. But Phillips and Bieber swear by it for a seamless, skin-like finish. And based on videos from influencers recreating the look, don't knock it 'til you try it.&nbsp;
Now, fans of the underpainting method can recreate the look with one sleek palette. m.ph beauty&rsquo;s Sculpting Palette comes in three shade ranges, each with five creamy formulas designed to correct, contour, and highlight for an everyday lit-from-within glow sans the professional makeup artist fees.&nbsp;

Launched on August 1, the new Double Standard Primer &amp; Mascara Duo from Dibs Beauty is a thoughtful two-in-one designed for lashes that need both lift and drama. As someone with stubbornly straight lashes that rarely hold a curl, I&rsquo;m notoriously picky with mascaras&mdash;and usually default to slim wands like Refy&rsquo;s Lash Sculpt or Glossier&rsquo;s Lash Slick. Needless to say, I didn&rsquo;t expect to love this one as much as I did.&nbsp;
The dual-ended format features a primer on one side and mascara on the other. Unlike many primers that come in stark white (a concept I still can&rsquo;t wrap my head around after a decade of experimenting with makeup), this primer is a deep brown tubing formula that could easily stand alone if you have thinner or lighter lashes&mdash;or if you&rsquo;re going for a softer, natural look. Its slim, tapered wand makes it easy to reach even the tiniest lashes (a huge win for my straight set). It grips well, separates cleanly, and creates definition without feeling heavy.&nbsp;
On the other side, the black mascara uses a thicker bristle wand. Normally, that&rsquo;s a recipe for clumps on my lashes (a struggle I know many of my fellow Asian girls share), but this one pleasantly surprised me with how clean and buildable it turned out to be. It adds noticeable volume and length while still looking soft, and it would layer beautifully for those who already have naturally dense lashes and want extra impact.&nbsp;
Pro tip: let the primer set for 15&ndash;30 seconds before applying the mascara for maximum lift and drama.
Overall, the duo impressed me&mdash;especially as someone who almost never finds a mascara that truly works. It balances separation, lift, and volume in a way that feels versatile for different lash types, all in one convenient package. The only thing that would make it my ultimate dream come true is if it were waterproof. Until then, I&rsquo;ll take comfort in the fact that it doesn&rsquo;t smudge.

Laura Mercier has long been synonymous with setting powder: the cult-favorite Translucent Loose Setting Powder has been spotted in the kits of Bella Hadid, Sarah Jessica Parker, and even Meghan Markle. Now, the brand is expanding its setting category with the new Translucent Hydrating Setting Spray in Ultra Blur, designed to lock in makeup while keeping skin hydrated and smooth.&nbsp;
Formulated with hyaluronic acid, ectoin, niacinamide, and white lily extract, the spray hydrates while delivering a soft-focus blurring effect. Unlike many mattifying sprays, it doesn&rsquo;t leave you looking flat or dry; it minimizes pores while maintaining your skin&rsquo;s radiance&mdash;a dream come true for anyone who wants a fresh, lightly dewy base without emphasizing texture. As for the packaging, the continuous nozzle spray is convenient, though worth noting if you tend to overapply facial mists or setting sprays.&nbsp;
The formula is alcohol-free and best suited for oily or combination skin, but even on my drier complexion, it filled in my pores without stripping away my skin prep or natural moisture. That said, those with very sensitive or eczema-prone skin may want to patch-test first; I experienced a mild, fleeting itch on my face and eyelids after application, though it subsided quickly.&nbsp;
Performance-wise, it shines for long nights out: it noticeably helps extend makeup wear and keeps eye makeup from smudging or transferring (not 100 percent, but a huge improvement).
Overall, Ultra Blur is a thoughtful expansion for Laura Mercier&mdash;ideal for anyone who loves the poreless look of their powder sans the creasing and flashback.

It&rsquo;s not just cute&mdash;it smooths lip lines and improves texture over time for that signature Kylie Jenner pout. The clear version even doubles as an overnight lip mask. To celebrate, the brand popped up in NYC this month with Van Leeuwen ice cream in tow&mdash;because what could be more summer than that?

Sarah Creal Beauty may be new to the game, but it&rsquo;s already one to watch. Specifically designed for those with mature skin in mind, the brand is rooted in performance-first formulations that feel elegant without trying too hard.&nbsp;&nbsp;
This month, Sarah Creal launched its newest standout: the No Further Questions High Glide Peptide Lip Gloss. Available in four high-shine and two shimmer shades, the formula has a fresh, lightweight feel. It&rsquo;s not sticky (thankfully), which is a welcome change if you&rsquo;re used to glosses that feel heavy or gluey by hour two.&nbsp;
It&rsquo;s infused with peptides, making it a hydrating option that reduces the appearance of lines on the lips. The gloss is also fragrance-free, vegan, and, despite its glossy payoff, feels more like a nourishing lip balm. Even the shimmer shades are subtle, adding dimension without veering into full-on glitter territory. The high-shine shades, on the other hand, are impressively pigmented and glide on with a single swipe.&nbsp;
The one drawback, however, is that the applicator is so soft it almost feels delicate, like it might snap if you&rsquo;re not gentle. While that hasn&rsquo;t happened to me, I definitely find myself applying it with a light hand. That detail doesn&rsquo;t exactly scream luxury, but the rest of the packaging does: the gloss comes in a glass tube with a sleek gold tip that looks and feels high-end.&nbsp;
Overall, it&rsquo;s a thoughtful entry from a rising brand that clearly understands texture, tone, and comfort, and how to bring them together in one swipe.

Both work beautifully on their own or as a topper layered over your favorite lip combo.&nbsp;
Pigment-wise, they sit in that perfect in-between space: not too sheer, not too bold. Still, they&rsquo;re totally buildable, so you can dial it up or down depending on your mood. Either way, these are easily among the most comfortable lip oils on the market (and believe me, I&rsquo;ve tried them all, from Dior to Summer Fridays). The best part? They&rsquo;re ultra-hydrating and won&rsquo;t cling to dry patches. It&rsquo;s the kind of product you&rsquo;ll reach for year-round.&nbsp;
My only qualm with the Canyon Kiss Lip Comfort Oil Duo is that, as someone who gravitates toward cool-toned lips, these shades aren&rsquo;t ones I&rsquo;d typically reach for. But the formula is so good, I&rsquo;m convinced to pick it up in Chocolate or Plum&mdash;maybe even Honey while I&rsquo;m at it.&nbsp;

The formula is fruity-scented and hydrating, with a texture that feels comfortable and not at all sticky. Truthfully, it feels more like a tint with the appearance of an ultra-pigmented gloss. It&rsquo;s available in four bold shades, each named (and scented) after its corresponding fruit: Strawberry Shortcut (a bright, playful pink); Berry Demure (a deep, rich berry); Make Me Plum (a cool-toned berry); and Sashay, Parfait (a vivit, reddish pink).&nbsp;

I tried Berry Demure, and it smells exactly like blackberry&mdash;sweet, juicy, and nostalgic. While the color payoff is bold and more intense than I usually go for, it&rsquo;s the kind of product I&rsquo;d reach for on a night out. That said, it&rsquo;s still workable for the natural-lip girlies. Again, a little goes a long way, so you can dab on just a touch for a sheer, bitten-lip effect. But if you&rsquo;re a bold lip girl through and through, this is a dream come true.&nbsp;

Even better, the bounce held through to the next morning&mdash;a frustratingly rare feat for my straight hair. I&rsquo;m genuinely excited to see how much healthier and less heat-damaged my hair looks with consistent use, because there&rsquo;s no way I&rsquo;m giving up everyday styling now.

Launched on August 11, the Neura&eacute; Harmonie Sleeping Mask marks a new entry from the Sisley Group&rsquo;s laboratories&mdash;two years and more than 40 formulation trials in the making. With a blend of shea butter, gardenia fruit extract, kokum butter, and babassu oil, it promises to restore, balance, and refresh skin overnight.
At first application, the experience feels almost deceptively simple. The texture is very lightweight&mdash;nothing like a typical face mask or even a moisturizer&mdash;and more reminiscent of a pore-perfecting primer than a traditional overnight treatment. It doesn&rsquo;t leave an oily residue, either. Unlike many overnight treatments that coat the skin in a thick, glossy layer, Harmonie all but disappears on contact. Within an hour, though, it begins to settle in, leaving behind a subtle dewiness, even on my naturally dry, eczema-prone skin.&nbsp;
I applied it over my usual toner and Rhode Glazing Milk, nothing else. By morning, I was genuinely surprised. I rarely rave about face masks, let alone overnight sleeping masks; very few have impressed me since I started slugging with Aquaphor weekly. I haven&rsquo;t even used a sheet mask since the COVID quarantine. But Neura&eacute;&rsquo;s Harmonie Sleeping Mask manages to deliver the same plump, radiant effect I love from slugging, minus the overstimulating heaviness or stickiness. Even after just four hours of sleep, my skin looks refreshed, hydrated, and luminous. What surprised me most, though (even more than the fact that I was impressed with a sleeping mask at all), was how much it calmed my redness from clogged pores and environmental stressors. It left my complexion with that elusive post-facial glow.&nbsp;
