Blackpink's Jisoo Stars in Dior’s Glossy New Lip Glow Campaign
Anya Taylor-Joy and Willow Smith also shine as faces for the French house’s new beauty item.
Dior is launching a revamped suite of its balmy Lip Glow line and, with it, a star-studded campaign of brand ambassadors.
Blackpink's Jisoo stars in the campaign (wearing 001 Pink), alongside Anya Taylor-Joy in Lip Glow 077 Candy (who has been a Dior ambassador since 2021) and new brand face Willow Smith in 006 Berry. Photography, lensed by Dan Beleiu, features each celebrity in a soft, pink knit while holding their balm of choice. The campaign film by Valentin Herfray sees these Dior muses toying with their favorite lip shades to Artemas' angsty, TikTok viral "i like the way you kiss me."
The French luxury house's renewed lip balms are all about including warm shades in addition to previous cool tones, thanks to a new proprietary ingredient. What does this practically mean? There are now more shade options to complement all complexions and undertones. New tones include 006 Berry, which has more of a plum-like hue, and 077 Candy, which is a shimmery and warm pink color. Dior Makeup Creative and Image Director Peter Philips also debuted two-limited edition pastels in 078 Icy Blue and 203 Citrus. There are now 21 total colorways, each in their own logo-engraved case.
"After years of research and experimenting, we are proud to say we cracked the code. We are now able to offer warm as well as cold shades that enhance the natural PH of your lips. This range of shades is timeless, caring, and yummy," Philips said of the new items in a press release.
The launch debuts "Cool Reviver" technology, which allows the product to adapt to the lip's pH levels, creating a blend between the balm's color and lip's natural hue. Each balm is designed to offer 48-hour hydration for the lips and will retail for $42.
Dior Addict Lip Glow will be available to shop on December 15 on Dior.com and at Sephora on December 26.
