Gucci is starting off 2020 in a big way. After holding its first-ever carbon neutral show at Milan Fashion Week in September, the Italian house is returning to the menswear calendar for the first time in nearly four years.

While Alessandro Michele did start out by holding two separate events, he started showing his collections co-ed in Fall/Winter 2017. It's made sense for the brand given Michele's vision of classy, nostalgic quirk, and has aligned with a general trend of breaking down gender boundaries in fashion. With the help of faces like Harry Styles, Jared Leto, and Lana Del Rey, Gucci has established itself as a brand that can fit into any identity or style, always one of Milan's hottest tickets and holding a major cultural presence across the board.

But now, Gucci is back with a Fall/Winter 2020 menswear show at Milan Fashion Week Men's, its first since Spring/Summer 2017. While a transition in this direction is less common, it has been trending a bit—Anthony Vaccarello brought men's shows back to Saint Laurent in 2018, Hedi Slimane established menswear at Celine last year, and after nearly a decade of building his eponymous brand, Simon Porte Jacquemus designed his first men's collection a few seasons back.

More than anything, Gucci's return to the menswear calendar for Fall/Winter 2020 is making Milan's men's fashion week a highly anticipated event. With Michele's tendency to defy gender norms with his creations, the new collection is sure to be exciting, and we already know how creative the designer can get with his shows as a whole. If you want in on the action, come back to this page on Tuesday, January 14 at 6:30 am EST to see all the Gucci Men's Fall/Winter 2020 looks as they debut on the runway.
