If Black Swan and Wednesday Addams had a dinner party with fairies.

On Friday afternoon, inside the structural interior of the Williamsburg Savings Bank, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/rodarte-fall-2020-runway-show" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rodarte</a> transported its guest into a whimsical yet dark fantasy. The show began with a wave of black gowns walking down the runway, standing out with deep-V necklines, floor-sweeping hemlines, and long exaggerated sleeves nearly grazing the floor. As the runway show went on, pops of color made their appearance with more daring silhouettes taking place.
While models walked to the soulful sound of "Oh the Drears" by Happy Rhodes, each look was as interesting as the next. If there was a theme to be followed, it was very <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/wednesday-season-2-details-cast-trailer-premiere-date" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Wednesday Addams</a> and Black Swan meets Little House of the Prairie. The pioneer bonnets, the versatile use of black, the various inserts of lace&mdash;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/wednesday-addams-inspired-designer-fashion-prada-gucci-fall-halloween-style" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Wednesday-core</a> had reached the runway, but a bit more reimagined.&nbsp;
The collection was not lacking standout features including actual fairy wings, floor-length veils, voluminous tassels, and lots of sequins. As the runway was coming to end, the collection was a colorful complete 180 from the long black gowns that started the show off&mdash;but equally as beautiful&mdash;as it felt like you suddenly walked into an angelic fairy party. The last model ended the show on a heart-thumping note as they walked in a voluminous gold-fringed cape coat.
The show was not amiss of A-list celebrity appearances including Orville Peck, Kathryn Newton, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/alexa-chung-french-girl-style-moments" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Alexa Chung</a>,&nbsp;Beanie Feldstein,&nbsp;Quinta Brunson, Maddie Ziegler, Michelle Zauner, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/rowan-blanchard-fashion-looks" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rowan Blanchard</a>, Brie Larson, Natasha Lyonne, and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/interview-lana-condor-to-all-the-boys" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lana Condor</a>.
