After sitting out the fashion week calendar for nearly two years, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/damson-idris-tommy-hilfiger-brand-ambassador-f1-las-vegas-grand-prix" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tommy Hilfiger</a> has finally made its return to <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/new-york-fashion-week-parties-popups-events-fall-winter-2024" target="_blank" rel="noopener">New York Fashion Week</a>. Dubbed &ldquo;A New York Moment,&rdquo; the luxury brand&rsquo;s Fall/Winter 2024 collection is an ode to Hilfiger&rsquo;s humble beginnings in New York City.&nbsp;
While his <a href="https://usa.tommy.com/en" target="_blank" rel="noopener">eponymous label</a> has made its mark as a global fashion brand, it was important for Hilfiger to pay homage to the city where it all began. &ldquo;As a young designer, [New York City] was the birthplace of my vision. The pulse of the city, its culture of confidence and openness, has fueled the brand since the very beginning,&rdquo; Hilfiger remarked in a release. Thus, the show served as &ldquo;a modern-day expression of classic American cool through the eyes of the ultimate <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/tommy-hilfiger-usa-logo" target="_blank" rel="noopener">American dreamer</a>,&rdquo; according to the brand.&nbsp;
Set against the backdrop of the <a href="https://www.oysterbarny.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Grand Central Oyster Bar</a>&mdash;completely transformed into a real-life Tommy Club&mdash;with Questlove controlling the beats, the Fall/Winter 2024 runway showcased the quintessential reds, whites, and blues synonymous with the brand. Alongside the classic Hilfiger colors, the collection featured a crisp neutral palette that resonates with the understated yet chic sensibilities of uptown New York. The presentation exuded a modern elevation of the preppy Americana style for which Tommy Hilfiger is renowned.
