23-year-old Addison Rae has become practically a household name after going viral on TikTok during the pandemic. Since then, she has proven herself a true multi-hyphenate as an actor, influencer, singer of the hit single "Diet Pepsi."
She's also shown an increasing penchant for outfits that go as viral as her TikToks. The Gen Z internet muse has been embracing the looks of hyperpop divas from the early 2000s, usually resulting in campy outfits looking like they came straight from a 2007 paparazzi shot. At this week's 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, Rae garnered attention with her custom Miss Claire Sullivan look. In a red carpet interview with Billboard, she said that the two-pieced, feathery set was inspired heavily by her favorite VMA looks from the likes of Madonna, Christina Aguilera, and Brittany Spears.
