The 36-year-old influencer and designer chatted with&nbsp;L'OFFICIEL&nbsp;about everything ranging from her new luxury brand to her philosophy when it comes to dressing her toddler to the buzzy, Dior-hosted baby shower recently held in her home.&nbsp;

While Aimee Song's Instagram and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/beauty/viral-tiktok-beauty-trends-summer-2024-tried-and-tested" target="_blank" rel="noopener">TikTok</a> pages have exploded in popularity in recent years, garnering millions of follows from style-savvy crowds across the world, her influencer journey began far before it was the trendy move. In 2008, Song launched her blog, Song Of Style, while studying architecture and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/travel-living/festen-interior-design-founders-charlotte-de-tonnac-hugo-sauzay" target="_blank" rel="noopener">interior design</a> in school. While her page initially revolved around interior architecture&mdash;and it still does in some capacities&mdash;Song found a love for fashion somewhere along the way, and photos of her outfits occasionally sprinkled her feed. In between long days spent working at an architecture firm, collaborating with brands on fashion shoots as a model and stylist, and navigating <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/san-francisco-will-ban-the-sale-of-natural-fur" target="_blank" rel="noopener">San Francisco</a>, Song of Style took off. Given viewers' particular interest in fashion, the direction of the blog shifted slightly, and Song angled toward personal style. Although it began as a passion project documenting her visual aesthetic, Song of Style quickly became a lucrative business.&nbsp;
In 2024, after years of hard work as a designer and stylist, Song has expanded her reach to today's most popular media platforms, all while keeping up with her original blog. Aside from her work with her new label, Amiya&mdash;a luxury <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/shopping/sustainable-knitwear-fashion-shopping-cashmere-wool" target="_blank" rel="noopener">knitwear</a> brand that boasts romantic, timelessly chic pieces handmade in Italy&mdash;Song spends her days in the front rows of the fashion shows of major luxury labels, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/dior-cruise-2025-runway-images" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dior</a> included, working on brand deals and collaborations for social media, and keeping up with her family. Song is currently a mother to two-year-old Teo, who she parents alongside her fiance, Jacopo Moschin. Early in 2024, the pair announced that they were expecting another addition to their family, prompting plenty of memorable maternity sartorial snippets featured on Song's Instagram. 
On a warm, sunny Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles, Song's closest friends gathered in her family's back garden for an intimate <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/sofia-richie-is-setting-the-standard-for-maternity-style" target="_blank" rel="noopener">baby</a> shower. Surrounded by delicate Dior Maison dishware, joyful yellow lemon-printed linens, and plenty of delicious <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/beauty/italian-bob-hair-trend-hairstyle-tiktok" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Italian</a> cuisine, the designer, family, and friends f&ecirc;ted the baby's impending arrival.&nbsp;

L'OFFICIEL: What inspired the theme for your baby shower?
Aimee Song: It was actually a surprise by my friends Jen Atkin, Stephanie Suganami, and Jared Craft. My partner is Italian, so I think they thought it'd be fun to do an Italian summer-themed baby shower.&nbsp;
L'O: Can you share the process behind choosing your dress for the shower?
AS: I actually chose the day of. As I'm almost at the tail end of the pregnancy, my belly has been growing nonstop so not many things fit at the moment. I went with something that stretches and has a little bit of color.&nbsp;
L'O: What was your favorite memory from the celebration?
AS: Having all of my close friends in our yard was just special. Some of them flew in from different cities and also have their own busy lives. It was so nice to have everyone together. Also, playing games was so much fun because we're all so competitive and is a standard in our friend group.
L'O: Do you have a favorite Dior Maison piece from the tablescape at the shower?
AS: The serving plates were so beautiful, as were the beautiful green cups. I've been slowly growing my own Dior Maison collection at home and this collection was something that I wanted to add as they brought in a beautiful pop of color.

L'O: When it comes to maternity dressing, what is your biggest priority?
AS: Something that doesn't restrict my belly and is easy to get in and out of. I use the restroom every hour, so I'd say comfort is the most important thing at the moment, but looking put together is right up there as well. Our bodies go through so many different changes during pregnancy that's out of our control and as vain as it sounds, it's so easy not to feel beautiful. I try to put some effort in styling myself throughout pregnancy to help me feel more beautiful while pregnant.
L'O:&nbsp;What is your design philosophy like when it comes to Amiya? Do you have a favorite piece you&rsquo;ve designed so far?
AS: I wanted to create a luxury brand that felt timeless yet irreverent while putting quality and sustainability on the forefront. My design philosophy has been much slower and thoughtful. For summer we just created an incredible hand crochet top and dress that took over 120 hours to knit by this wonderful Italian lady who's been honing her craft for over 40 years.
L'O:&nbsp;What&rsquo;s your summer style must-have? Do you have any favorite summer fashion trends?
AS: I was traveling for 6 weeks with just one suitcase and had to share that suitcase with a toddler, so I lived in a white maxi skirt with an elastic waistband. I was able to wear that in so many different ways. My current favorite summer fashion trend is ballet flats and maxi skirts and dresses.
L'O:&nbsp;Do you have any holy grail beauty products you keep on you at all times?
AS: I really love Rhode Skin's glazing milk. It has ceramide in it and is so calming and light. I put it everywhere on my face and my body. I also love Osea body oil which I've been using on my belly throughout my pregnancy with other hydrating products.&nbsp;

L'O:&nbsp;What has your experience curating your son&rsquo;s wardrobe been like? Is there a specific style/aesthetic you keep in mind while dressing him?
AS: I love color! Boy clothes can be boring and honestly depressing. All these cute baby clothes brands will make such adorable girl clothes with cute patterns but when it comes to boys, they all truly look the same or just plain boring with obvious color choices. I actually shop a lot in the girls section. I'll put my son in pink or purple pants and style him with other colorful t-shirts. Since he's a very active toddler who likes to climb up on things, I definitely think about comfort as well.&nbsp;
L'O:&nbsp;After working closely with Dior for several years, do you have any favorite memories from any of the shows or events you&rsquo;ve attended?
AS: One of my favorite memories is the first trip I did with Dior for Raf Simons' cruise collection in the South of France at Pierre Cardin's Bubble Palace back in 2015. It was so iconic. I also absolutely loved visiting Scotland for Maria Grazia Chiuri's 2025 show which was just jaw dropping. So many looks juxtaposed against a majestic backdrop, it was truly an experience.
L'O:&nbsp;What&rsquo;s the best piece of style/beauty advice you&rsquo;ve picked up over the years?
AS:&nbsp;When it comes to style, I'm realizing that you truly should dress for yourself and wear whatever makes you feel good. My wardrobe has been an evolution of everything that makes me feel good and confident. Beauty advice: don't do fillers. My biggest regret ever was getting filler under my eyes during the pandemic when everyone was getting work done. I have since dissolved them. I'll never do fillers again.
L'O:&nbsp;Are there any maternity fashion trends you&rsquo;ve loved in recent months?
AS: Wearing non-maternity clothes and basically dressing like how I normally dress has been fun. I just have to think about fabric and materials that stretch while my body changes.
L'O:&nbsp;If anything, what changed in your style philosophy from your first pregnancy journey to this current one?
AS: With my first pregnancy, I got pregnant in summer so styling the bump in the winter was actually very easy as I wore a lot of knits. This pregnancy, I have a summer bump so it's been slightly more challenging but made bump dressing that much more fun.
