Angelina Jolie Embraces the Metallic Trend for 'Eternals' Premiere in Rome

Angelina Jolie shined—literally—on the red carpet last night at the 2021 Rome Film Festival for the Italian premiere of her upcoming Marvel film Eternals.

Accompanied by two kids Zahara and Shiloh, Jolie invested in a custom metallic Versace gown with an elegantly draped waist. She completed the look with platform sandals—a shoe towards which she doesn't normally gravitate. In fact, the whole ensemble was unusual for the actress who normally opts for neutral tones such as beige, black, or even white.

In the new movie, Jolie completely changed her look by adopting bleach blonde hair for the role of Thena, an alien superhero with the powers of strength, speed, and endurance.  The cast also features Salma Hayek as Ajak, Kit Harington as Dane Whitman, and Richard Madden as Ikaris. The film premieres on November 5.

Recently, while promoting the project, Jolie hit the red carpet for the film's London premiere joined by all six of her children: Maddox, 20, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 15, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 13.

However, the real scene-stealer of the night was the star's eldest daughter, Zahara. The 16-year-old wore her mother's iconic Elie Saab gown from the 2014 Academy Awards.
